章節 3: 3 Spellcasters

In this world the two most powerful occupations are the Elemental Swordsmen and Spellcasters, but of course a Spellcaster are far more stronger than an Elemental Swordsman. Only Elemental Swordsmen that has reach Sword God can stand toe to toe with the strongest Spellcaster.

Despite having the money it is extremely rare to have someone with a Spellcaster quality. Becoming an Elemental Swordsman was quite easy, by passing an Elemental Seed to a young child to nurture at an early stage while it's incredibly hard to become a spell caster.

"Father, have you seen any Spellcaster?" asked Ben.

Old Williams hearing his son was silent for some time as though trying to remember something "No son, I haven't seen one but my father had seen them though. Come on now you need some rest."

Lord Williams led Ben back to their rooms to continue sleeping. Ben on the other hand couldn't sleep, not so long ago he died, yet he was somehow transported to this new world of demon creatures, Elemental Swordsmen and magic. It was a totally new concept to him. As he kept tumbling in bed he thought about every thing that happened right after he fell from the tree, that's when he remembered those two coloured clouds of dust that surrounded him in that Void.

Just as he thought about it his consciousness drifted back to that place but this time he knew it was he who went there on his own accord. Ben was shocked when he saw his surrounding.

"Hello? " Ben called out. Yet no answer came. His voice didn't even echo back to indicate that he was in a room but showed that he was in a very big space. As Ben's voice pierced the horizon the place began to change.

Ben looked around with his mouth open. The only thing he could compare what he's seeing right now with is Space. Stars of different colors were everywhere. Starfields formed clouds in so many places. Ben would have to move for about twenty five minutes to move from one Starfield to another. Here he could fly around.

When he got tired he stopped flying and came closer to two giant halo like things, they had two colored star field scattered all around the it like a cloud of dust. When he tried reaching out his hands to grab at the red colored dust it was hot but bearable at a minimal level.

"According to my extra memories this most be like the books I've read about Elemental Seeds. I just need to gather these Starfield into this halo stuff. But damn, it gets hotter over time." Ben would have to strengthen his endurance to stay any longer than ten minutes near the red cloud.

After five minutes of observation he flew towards the blue halo, like the red halo a blue Starfield was also around it, it also had a different temperature at freezing cold.

"I'm a bit surprised this body now has an Elemental... Halo, but to have two of them is out of the question. Unless... I... I have Spellcasters qualities! This is crazy. Awesome!! What do I call this place? Well it looks like Space in my science books but it's not the real 'Space' so I'll call this place Universal Plane."

Ben estimated he has been in this place for over four hours and the sun should be up and shining in the real world. Ben concentrated his consciousness to leave the Universal Plane and it worked, he founds himself back in his room.

"How's this possible? It's been only about two hours. This would mean time flows two times faster in the Universal plane." He realized that only about half the time was actually spent. With this new discovery Ben stayed in the Universal Plane gathering the blue clouds dust into the blue Halo.

The sun has finally stood high in the clear blue sky surrounded by scanty clouds. Many guards had started their patrol round the mansion. If one listens carefully you could hear the shouts of children coming from the back of the building, however, these shouts were organized, like shouts during a training drill. In the mansion orders can be heard from one corner to another. Unlike the murmurs Ben heard when he woke up earlier on, the whole place although wasn't noisy it was lively.

"Ben! Ben! wake up you sleepy head or else we're gonna to be late" a series of knocks and a feminine whispering shouts came from outside Ben's door.

"Okay I'm coming" Ben answered with a sleepy voice.

In fact he hadn't slept at all after he woke up earlier but instead stayed crossed leg on his missive bed dipping his consciousness back into the universal plane to understand more about the two Starfields. He figured that in order to fully understand the use of the Halo and Starfields he had to gather those star field all into their Halo respectively.

Without gathering them into their Halos they are like dust scattered across the Universal Plane. Only after the Halos were full would he be able to harness it's powers, of course that can't just happen over night but a very long and strenuous process. Ben was only able to focus on one Halo because he would need his utmost concentration to gather the ice chilling dust, that was indeed a lot of work.

Ben opened his eyes and found faint layers of frost on him and the bed then it quickly dispersed soaking the thick blanket. He got up and reached for the door. "Remind me where's that again?" Ben asked totally confused.

"Don't... " the young girl stopped speaking then looked around seeing no one around she pushed Ben inside, "...don't tell me you've forgotten today is the day the mages from the Kingdom of Blackash will be coming to point out those with Spellcasters quality from the kingdom of Moonlight. And you forgot?!?" the girl yelled angrily at Ben 'literally, how could anyone possibly forget a day like today, is he kidding me?' she cried inwardly.

"Geez Anna, no need to yell *yawn*" Ben said faking a yawn.

Anna has blond curly hair like her mother and brown eyes like their dad and she would soon be turning twelve in the next two months. She wore a nice pink dress with her hair in what Ben thinks is French braids. Anna looks very pretty and will be sure to grow into very beautiful woman. And to everyone she has a really kind heart and soul.

"Anyway I'm ready. The carriage is ready to leave. Remember, father shouldn't know we're leaving yet" with that she left to wait for Ben elsewhere.

"Yeah okay, just wait for me I'll be ready in a jiffy" Ben closed the door and rushed to the bathroom to shower. Throughout the whole time Ben had a silly smile on his face. He has just been thinking how he'll be able to increase his new found powers in a short amount of time, yet the heavens drops the answer right at his doorstep... not his sister, the information *cough*cough *.
