章節 19: Chapter Nineteen

It was nearing time for my family to start arriving as I stood in front of my mirror looking at my appearance. wearing a simple sweater dress and boots, Dani styled my hear in a loose low bun with two pieces of my hair hanging in the front for bangs, I was glad Dani decided to stay since she was considered family to me.

" your cousins are here." my mother says peaking in my room.

" okay ill be out." I say taking a deep breath.

" Kendra just relax I'm sure Lisa isn't even going to come, she's too good remember?" Dani says laughing.

" oh she's here." I say rolling my eyes.

leaving my room Dani right behind me we make our way into the dinning room area where everyone was talking drinking wine. my cousins and aunt Trina were all here, as my cousin Lisa smiles as soon as she spots me.

" Kendra? is that you?" Lisa walking to me embracing me with a tight hug.

" hey Lisa." I say dryly forcing a smile.

" you look beautiful." Lisa says looking me up an down.
