A man's groan filled the cave he was resting in. His forehead was filled with sweat as he fought the pain that was suffocating him.

Beside him, sat a woman who would occasionally wipe the sweat away. Every chance he got, he would push her hands away from him.

Sut! He had never regretted anything the way he was regretting his impulsive decision. He wished he could turn back time.

Days have gone by since he gave back the gift she gave. For these days, he had no peace. He couldn't begin to imagine her state. 

If he was suffering this much, then she must be getting it worse. Sut had never hated himself more his entire life.

Before, when he felt betrayed by Arif and Amelia, he had directed hatred towards them. He willed his soul to survive just so he could get his revenge later.

When his entire race ridiculed him for merely existing without a purpose, he never stopped loving himself.
