" Mother, I am not ready to talk to you. Can't you give me space?" Shahzad spoke feeling exasperated. He hasn't talked to his mother since Zmarad left. Every day was painful the previous one for him.

She was taken from him for three months after he abandoned her for his duties. Then she woke up a completely different person from the one he knew. Additionally, she didn't stay with him. It became the first and last time they met despite everything else.

It took him a lot of willpower to stand up on his feet again. Thankfully, Zamarad didn't cut him off completely. The thoughts of running back to his room to watch his children kept him working hard. He now had a family to protect and be responsible for.

True to what Zamarad had said, he had more enemies than a friend. He knew almost nothing about the people around him. He was so used to being served that he forgot the needs of those serving him. It was supposed to be a mutual relationship. Not a parasitic one.
