“Give me Ivy’s number.” He spoke, breaking the silence. It took me a second to understand what he asked for.

“Uh… okay.” I grabbed my phone, turned it on, went to the contacts and showed him the number.

“I’d called Lyla when I was in my bedroom. She said she’d grab some things and be here. I need to call Ivy so that this can be discussed and solved.” He said as he dialed Ivy's number on his phone.

I just gave a nod of head. He called her and handed me back my phone. I just stared at his face as he was waiting for her to pick up the call. I could see he was nervous. I had no idea after how long he was talking to her but one thing that my heart kept asking me again and again was, “Are there any sparks left?”

“Hello… It’s me. Ryan.” I heard his raspy voice speak which pulled me out of my thoughts.
