Upon returning from the arena, Noxtis rose from his position lying on the inscription beneath him and heard the crying sobs of Jenny as she was tightly hugging, or at least trying to squeeze her arms around the giant frame of the dragonkin.
"Riqar you big, muscle-headed dummy! How could you go and get yourself so hurt like that?! I even gave you a few of my best potions but you didn't even use one! Do you know how sad I was to see you fighting so brutally?"
On the receiving end of this emotional abuse, Riqar could only let Jenny vent out her frustrations and sorrows while he nodded and lightly hugged her back.
"I'm sorry Jen, I will do better."
"You'd better if you know what's good for you. You owe me dinner, someplace nice where we can go just the two of us."
Sniffling and punching Riqar's shoulder as hard as she could only to have her hand hurt because of it, she angrily pouted and snuggled into the warm embrace of his lap and fell asleep.
