[Author • So someone please help lol, i have a few questions regarding Soul Cores]
1. What does a Soul Core do exactly
2. What is the benefit of FUSING with a Soul Core
3. Does a Soul Core have something like a 'Lingering Attachment' like how some Spirit Beasts die with a huge amount of anger, resentment and regret that it makes it harder to fuse with a Spirit Bone or Spirit Ring?

Chu Feng went on with his journey, he was already on his way for a few days by now since Heaven Dou City wasn't that close to Sou Tou City and he was taking his time with traveling.
''Lets get something to eat'' Chu Feng walked into the next city and searched for the best restaurant, he came in front of a seven story high building with a two lions at the front of entrance.
Seeing the huge building Chu Feng hoped that at least the food was good, the designs of the buildings were always just concrete with windows or smaller houses were made of wood.... If it wasn't that he had to become stronger quickly he would've build his own modern mansion.
''How can I help you?'' A man in a suit said with a smile on his face.
''One table'' Chu Feng replied.
''We only have one table available right now but it's a Tier 3 table which means its for 20 people and with an amazing view but the price is more expensive'' The man explained with the same smile on his face.
''That's fine with me''
''Then please follow me''
Chu Feng was led by the man towards the sixth floor, the table looked like it was carved out of a white ore and had a beautiful design on it that looked like moving dragons.
''What would you like to order?'' The man asked him with a smile after leading Chu Feng to the table.
''Just give me everything on the menu'' Chu Feng looked at the menu on the table and didn't have normal food for quite a while now, he could deal with it but having normal food is nice sometimes.
''Understood'' The man smiled and left.
Chu Feng was looking around him and saw that the whole room was filled with people from young to old, all of them had one thing in common though. They carried themselves with their nose high up in the air like they were gods and looking down on ants.
'I guess you have people like that everywhere huh' Chu Feng shook his head and waited for 5 minutes for his minutes, his food got delivered and spread over the table.
He got quite a few weird looks since he was alone but ordered enough food for 20 people, Chu Feng merely shrugged and started eating.
''Hello, can we sit here?'' An arrogant voice sounded out, Chu Feng didn't even glance at the person and just continued eating.
''Hey! We are talking to you!'' A blond youth said with a fan in front of his face, Chu Feng looked up at them and met their eyes.
''How handsome....'' The only girl, a girl with brown eyes and brown long hair muttered on accident.
The other six young man were also dazed for a second but noticed his clothing, he didn't wear his cloak and only wore normal clothes he bought in the city.
''What a country bumpkin! He has no elegance at all'' A pink haired youth said while holding a fan in front of his mouth, his eyes held such a huge amount of disdain that even Chu Feng couldn't wait to slap him until he begged for his mother.
''I'm the prince of the Heaven Dou Empire, how about letting us having this table?'' One of the youths said, he had orange hair which was styled in such an annoying way that it made Chu Feng lose his hunger, the smell coming from it was so strong that it overpowered the flavor of his food.
''You know....'' Chu Feng slowly stood up and looked at the young man who looked curiously at first but then in slight fear after seeing that Chu Feng was over 1.82m tall.
''I hate it when people disturb my rest'' Chu Feng looked down at him with his red eyes.
''Hmph, at least you know your place'' One of the youths said with a grin on his face, he thought Chu Feng was giving up his seat for them.
*SLAP*
*BOOM*
''Y...you!'' The blond haired youth stuttered, he looked behind him where a body was laying unconscious and in a pool of blood.
''D..do you realize..w..what you have done! That is the prince!'' Another youth with short blue hair screamed at Chu Feng.
Chu Feng didn't bother with their bullsh*t any longer and slapped them all into the wall and caused the wall to nearly collapse, naturally he left the woman alone since she didn't say or do anything annoying.
''Young man! Wait a minute!'' A fat man came walking in with angry expression on his face, ''You have to pay for the damages!''
''Pay for the damages? I couldn't even eat in peace and quiet'' Chu Feng replied coldly.
he was sick of all these arrogant bastards, it looked like they had such a low IQ that if you jumped from their arrogance to their IQ you would break your legs.
''That has nothing to do with me! You hurt my customers and even damaged my restaurant!'' The fat man stubbornly said.
''Do you believe I won't tear down your little restaurant?'' Chu Feng looked at the fat man coldly, the fat man got scared for a moment but Chu Feng looked like an 16-17 year old kid, what could he do?
''Hmph, do you think I won't tell my bodyguards to cripple you? Get him!'' The four security guards ran towards Chu Feng.
*BOOM* (x5)
Chu Feng walked outside of the restaurant and went on with his journey while leaving eleven heavily injured people in the restaurant.
A few days later Chu Feng arrived at the Sunset Forest and walked in, the Sunset Forest was around the same size of the Forest Of Fighting Stars.
Chu Feng met some groups of different aged Spirit Beasts and didn't bother with them, nothing worthwhile was to be found in the outer-layer so he just continued to walk the Center of the forest.
''Mmm? Three 10.000-Years-Old Spirit Beast are fighting?'' Chu Feng looked at the map and saw three Black Light Dots that seemed to be around 20.000 to 40.000-Years-Old, he just walked near the Core Area yet he already found such Spirit Beast.
''This could be a good training'' Chu Feng smiled and went towards the battlefield, they were fighting in front of a cave.
Two Spirit Beasts that looked like a spider with a human face on its belly and a lizard with scales all over his body attacked a Spirit Beast that looked like a cat but was entirely black and had 9 tails with golden tips on her tail.
'This would've been the perfect Spirit Ring for Zhuqing' Chu Feng sighed and hoped that he might be able to get a Spirit Bone of the creature so he could make Zhuqing stronger since it was a perfect fit for her.
[Dark Devil Cat]
• The Dark Devil Cat is one of the leaders of the Cat species in terms of speed and power but its defence is average
> Beast Age: 20.339 Years Old
[Human-Faced Demon Spider]
• A Spider that can spit out a web that near instructible if the opponent is at the same level
> Beast Age: 29.332 Years Old
[Solar Flame Lizard]
• A lizard that absorbs Solar Particles to fight stronger opponents then itself but is weaker during the time the sun is down.

''They are both clearly way older than the Dark Devil Cat yet they can't kill it but why is it so unwilling to run, it isn't fighting to protect the cave either it just seems to have a grudge with the Solar Flamed Lizard'' Chu Feng analyzed the situation while looking at the fight, he had to admit that the Dark Devil Cat was really a perfect speed based Spirit Beast and was decided to catch it and just bring it with him.
Chu Feng kept watching the three Spirit Beast attack each other and hid in the shadows, the Dark Devil Cat didn't have a disadvantage while fighting the two older Spirit Beasts and instead created several small wounds on the Solar Flame Lizard.
The Solar Flame Lizard was ambushed during the evening by the Dark Devil Cat and if it was alone it would surely be dead already but it seemed its luck hadn't run out yet since the Human-Faced Demon Spider was nearby and the Dark Devil Cat and itself had once fought and it lost one of its eyes to it.
Naturally, upon seeing its enemy and it wanting to kill another Spirit Beast the Human-Faced Demon Spider wanted to fight together with the other Spirit Beast to kill this annoying cat.
The Dark Devil Cat was just too fast and after another few minutes of battle the Dark Devil Cat finally got stung by the Human-Faced Demon Spider while three of its own eyes got caught.
The Solar Flame Lizard didn't give the Dark Devil Cat a chance to take a breath and instantly attacked it and spewed flames out of its mouth.
The Dark Devil Cat sprung to the side and was nearly caught off-guard by the Human-Faced Demon Spider who spit webs at it.
The Dark Devil Cat dodged and jumped towards the two Spirit Beasts again, after 30 minutes the fight was coming to an end.
When the Human-Faced Demon Spider caused a wound on the Dark Devil Cat it poisoned it aswell, the Dark Devil Cat's speed fell drastically and got more and more wounds and was covered in its own blood at this point.
Chu Feng decided to attack the Human-Faced Demon Spider first and used Teleportation, the Human-Faced Demon Spider sensed danger and put one of its legs up to parry the attack.
*Clang*
The Human-Faced Demon Spider jumped away from Chu Feng who slashed halfway into its leg was quite disappointed that he only managed cut halfway into its body with an ordinary slash.
''Lets test this one then'' Chu Feng coated his Sword in Spirit Power and slashed out horizontally in a nonchalant manner.
*Shing*
A light metallic sound was heard and the Human-Faced Demon Spider lost its legs in merely 3 seconds since Chu Feng appeared.
The Human-Faced Demon Spider was rolling on the ground and Chu Feng send another slash to it to finish it off, Chu Feng looked at the Solar Flame Lizard who snapped out of its daze and looked at Chu Feng with killing intent.
''And here I thought you were a smart one...'' Chu Feng sighed and killed it within a few seconds and looked at his hands, 'These Spirit Beasts are to weak, do I really have to rely on that map to find my next Spirit Ring?'
''System, Fuse their Spirit Rings into my first Spirit Ring''
[Ding! Spirit Rings Absorbing...]
[Ding! Host's First Spirit Ring has gained 19 Years!]
''Ugh, if Spirit beasts are too weak for me i get barely anything'' Chu Feng sighed.
Chu Feng went towards the Dark Devil Cat who looked relieved, Chu Feng was confused but smelled blood coming from the cave and looked at the Dark Devil Cat.
''So it killed your kin huh.... You should be able to understand me a bit right?'' Chu Feng said to it.
The Dark Devil Cat nodded weakly while laying on the ground in its own poisoned blood.
''I can't save your life, I will put you to sleep so you don't feel any pain'' Chu Feng looked at the Dark Devil Cat who merely smiled weakly and didn't resist since it had nothing left to live for and its revenge had succeeded.
Chu Feng put the Dark Devil Cat to sleep and put it inside a bag, he said he would let it die but just not when.... It wouldn't notice the time difference anyway but having it die without a lot of anger, resentment and regret would make it easier to help Zhu Zhuqing absorb its Spirit Ring.
Chu Feng walked into the cave and saw why the Dark Devil Cat was so angry, three younger Dark Devil Cats and another Dark Devil Cat were laying there with incomplete bodies and most of their bodies were most likely eaten by the Solar Flame Lizard.
Chu Feng just made a small grave for them and buried them in a few minutes time, he was going to get their last remaining family killed so that was the least he could do.
Chu Feng continued walking towards the Core Area and didn't want to waste a lot of time here and didn't find a 80.000-Years-Old Spirit Beast here to test out his strength, Chu Feng finally arrived at the Core-Area.
''Its protected?'' Chu Feng was a bit surprised but realized one major flaw..... It was created by poison!
Naturally, this would protect it to everything under Super Douluo but Chu Feng had absorbed the Anti-Poison Pellet and was immune to the enchantment on the canyon.
Chu Feng didn't want to alert the owner of this place since he was basically stealing that person's treasures and laying down such a powerful formation should at least be the work of a Average Titled Douluo who specialized in Poison.
Chu Feng didn't know if he would break the formation and alert the owner of this place but he didn't have any better plan, if it comes down to it he will merely have to fight him and if its really an Average Titled Douluo then he did have a chance to win!
Chu Feng slowly stepped through the formation and could feel the poison trying to invade him and corrode him, his body quickly responded and removed the poison, Chu Feng was slowly moving through the formation and it took him half an hour before he was finally completely through it.
''It seems that it only serves for protection'' Chu Feng noticed that nothing changed after he touched or entered it.
Chu Feng went down the into the crater and gasped at the scene before him, treasures were everywhere!
Herbs that healed diseases or poisons, some of the herbs could help improve Soul Spirits but two herbs got the attention of Chu Feng when he saw them.
Those were the [Beautiful Silk Tulip] and the [Daffodil Jade Flesh Bone], those names were yelled at his ears so many times..... Just because Ning Rongrong asked Tang San to marry her because it evolved her 7 Treasures Glazed Tile Pagoda

Chu Feng was thinking about what to do and decided to just wait and see.
Chu Feng arrived at a well he was searching for, he knew this well..... The Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, Its red and blue water that was created by the bodies of the Dragon God's sons...
The Fire Dragon King and the Ice Dragon King, those two bodies were buried deeply under here. Da Ming naturally didn't know that otherwise he would've done everything in his power to get here to absorb them.
''Finally, I can try it'' Chu Feng's eyes went bright red, since he came here he remembered about Soul Cores, every time his Soul Power was too great for his level more then half of it would flow somewhere in his body but he just couldn't find where.
The familiar feeling he got when feeling the Aura of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well told him something he didn't want to think about, his mother once told him about his father's looks.
{That wasn't even human, it was a Spirit Beast but he promised me that he would soon transform into a Human but it was all just a lie.... I couldn't even see his whole body since it was just too tall.... He was a Dragon with Pitch-black Dragon scales..... At first i was worried if i would be able to give birth to you but he wouldn't let me go out of that place before i gave birth to his descendant, in the end he abandoned us both....}
Now all pieces of the puzzle connected, a name with heaven or 'Tian' in it, those futures and then at last how he could abandon his wife and child the moment he saw that his child didn't have his Aura.... A Dragon's Aura....
''So its really him huh'' Chu Feng smiled bitterly at the thought of his so called 'father', ''So in the end, I'm not even fully human? Wasn't he supposed to hate humans? And why the hell did I not get anything related to Dragons then....'' Chu Feng was thankful to Asura and the Goddess Of Luck for giving him a system and Soul Spirits but he didn't understand why his original body didn't have a Soul Spirit since normally anyone should have a Soul Spirit but only he didn't....
'I wonder where she is then, she left me aswell' Chu Feng was thinking about his 'mother' and why she left, he could understand Di Tian's reason since he is one stuck-up motherf*cker but his mother had no reason to abandon him at all as far as he knew, she looked happy when she was with him but why she suddenly left was a mystery to him.
Chu Feng threw it into the back of his head and decided that only time will tell.
Chu Feng undressed himself and got ready, he wasn't afraid of the pain since even Tang San could survive it, although it was thanks to his 'Dark Arts' but Chu Feng's body was basically 'Reborn' due to Xian Xia fusing with him.
''Its finally time to condense a Soul Core'' Chu Feng was excited since he was waiting for this moment, the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well was created by the energy of the two Dragon Kings and although he wasn't a son of the Dragon God he was still distant family despite him not having the Aura of a Dragon or a Soul Spirit at all.
''Still though, he dared to abandon me then he will have to pay the price..... Becoming my Spirit Ring will be good enough of a punishment, after I killed him that is'' Chu Feng's eyes shone bright red and jumped into the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well and got ready to condense his first Soul Core.

Lafafar If you didn't realize yet, yes, Di Tian is Chu Feng's father but not under normal circumstances since i will spoil a bit: His mother is a Human but she wasn't special or anything, she was just pretty and stumbled on a hidden world in Star Dou Forest and met Di Tian there. Naturally Di Tian is still a Spirit Beast at this moment and merely wanted a descendant if something went wrong but upon seeing that Chu Feng didn't have his Aura or a Dragon's Aura in general he decided he and his mother were useless to him and kicked them out and abandoned them. And no, she didn't have sex with a Dragon that is over 3.000 Meters tall. As for why he didn't have a Soul Spirit is actually pretty fucking simple but people don't understand it and some fan-fics just add the other person's soul into the old host, The MC REPLACED the old Chu Feng, he didn't fuse his soul and only got some memories from him and that was it, old Chu Feng's Spirit is unknown and isn't relevant due to him being quite ordinary. and one more thing, Chu Feng's mother was only made pregnant by Di Tian using his Spirit Power since Dragons in their Dragon Form don't even have a Dick..... He only choose her because she was the only one who found the place he was sealed in.
