Although I still have my own qualms about having Uncle Evan rely on Walker for protection, at least it meant the former really did keep his promise of ‘letting the adults handle all the complicated stuff while the teenagers focus on their studies’, as we wouldn’t really need to bother with the shady maneuverings that Kane is making from behind the scenes anymore, with an organization behind me and Leo’s back.

However, since Kane did not get notified about Uncle Evan’s sudden intervention against the former’s employer, he is currently still stuck against the both of us like a sticky piece of gum that wouldn’t fall off no matter how hard you try. Though, on the surface, he still looked quite amicable toward the both of us and didn’t actually do anything drastic for the next few days.
