"The results from this experiment were quite satisfactory." Dr. Greene said, giving my father a nod as he talked. His tone made it sounded like he was kind of disappointed, probably since my results meant that I would be leaving soon, allowing the psychiatrist to return and treat his other patients' less interesting cases. However, since the doctor still adhered to professional standards, he would not let the patient before him overstay his welcome.
"How are you feeling now, Hunter?" Dr. Greene gave me an analyzing look, as if checking if there was still anything wrong with my body. The way he stared at me seemed more like he was staring at an interesting specimen than a human being, causing my back to subconsciously quiver a little. However, that gaze only lasted for slightly less than a second as he had already moved his field of vision back to my father before I was able to reply to him.
