I ran towards the direction of the school board. When I saw Leo's figure, I immediately yelled, "Leo!"
Leo turned towards me and waved happily. I ran up to him until I was right in front of his face.
"Where's the love letter?" I asked in a serious manner.
Leo was surprised. "I already threw it in the garbage bin. What's wrong?"
I stared at him, my face grim. "The oak tree burned down."
**************
The firefighters arrived at the scene, but it was already too late. The oak tree was completely burned to a crisp. Luckily, there were no trees nearby, or else the fire might have burned the whole campus down.
After the firefighters put out the fire, they investigated the origins of the fire. They suspected there was foul play involved, considering the speed at which the oak tree was burnt.
Meanwhile, Leo and I were hiding in my house. "You've been framed." I said solemnly.
"I know." Leo gave me a grim look. I have never seen such a depressed face from him.
"Don't worry." I said. "I know you're innocent."
"But the video footage might tell a different story." Leo frowned.
I stared at Leo's face and took the initiative to hug him.
"It's okay." I said. "I'm here."
Leo choked. He hugged me tightly and started sobbing.
I patted on Leo's back and said to him, "I'll discover who's behind this and make them pay."
Leo did not hear me as he wept.
After Leo was done crying, I told him. "I'm going to go out for some groceries. I'll be back soon. Stay in the house, okay?"
Leo reluctantly nodded.

I headed to the scene of the crime. To be precise, the apartment building across from the scene of the crime.
When I arrived, I saw faculty members and security talking to some firefighters and policemen. They were probably trying to find the culprit of this arson case.
I acted normal and headed to the apartment building as if I was a resident there. When I entered the building, I reached into my backpack and grabbed a pair of latex gloves. Then, I pressed the elevator.
"From the trajectory of the arrow, the perpetrator must have fired it from the fourth or fifth floor." I thought.
The apartment building was rather luxurious in design. There is carpeting on the floor and the elevator itself was colored gold. A chandelier was hanging off of the ceiling of the elevator. I decided to head to the fifth floor first.
There were 3 flats on the fifth floor. From the direction that each flat was facing, the only possible place for the perpetrator to fire the arrow was Flat B. I headed to the front door of Flat B and rang the doorbell.
"Coming!" I heard someone yelled on the inside.
I immediately made a barrel roll and hid in the corner of the hallway, out of the sight of the person coming to the door. I heard the person opened the door. He waited for a few seconds, then said, "Hm? Is nobody outside? I thought I heard the doorbell..." He thought for a while before coming up with a conclusion. "I must have heard wrong." He nodded in satisfaction.
After the man headed back into his apartment, I pushed the door to the emergency exit and walked down one floor. Again, I headed to Flat B and rang the doorbell. After waiting for a few minutes, and putting my ear against the door to make sure there was nobody inside. I grabbed my bag and took out a toolbox. Inside the toolbox were lock picking tools. I took out 2 lock picks and slowly inserted them into the doorknob. After fiddling them around carefully, I finally managed to open the door.
******************
The apartment was completely empty. It seems as though no one have lived here for a period of time. Weirdly, there was no dust on the floor or on the surfaces. I entered Flat B and closed the front door, locking it. I took a look around.
Inside the apartment, there were 3 rooms. 2 ordinary ones and 1 master bedroom. There was a toilet located along the hallway and one behind the master bedroom as well. I observed the apartment and saw that all the windows were closed. However, I am 90% sure that this was the apartment used to fire the arrow. It was most likely fired from the balcony located outside the living room. The balcony had a perfect vantage point and have a wide view of the oak tree and the academy behind.
"I need to go to a realtor and find the landlord of this flat." I thought to myself. However, since it was 6pm already, all of the realtors were closed. Therefore, I could only return home.
I found Leo in the living room playing on my Portable Station 4. I noticed that although he was playing, he's actually not even foused on the game, as the character he was playing kept dying by falling off cliffs and getting hit by monsters without any retaliation.
"I'm back." I said.
Leo tilted his head and looked at me. His face seemed a little pale. "Welcome home, Hunter."
I went over and patted on his shoulder. "Don't worry, I'll definitely find out who was behind all of this!"
Leo nodded, but was still unfocused. I sighed. "I'm gonna make dinner."
The dinner was very quiet. Both of us were just focused on our eating and never said anything. When we finished eating, Leo asked, "Hunter, what do you think of me?"
I stared at Leo. It was really difficult to answer this question. After all, we have been together since childhood and have been inseparable ever since then.
I went to him and kissed his forehead. I said, "C'mon, let's get in the bath together."
Leo widened his eyes.
**************
I thought that after this event caused a big blow to his psyche, he would stop being perverted and behave but I. Was. Wrong.
When we both stripped naked and went in to the bath facing each other, I thought I could enjoy a nice warm bath with Leo to calm his mind. However, Leo swam towards me and started touching me. He started gently touching my pecs that were submerged in water and headed downwards. He used his index finger and slid it down the middle of my body. I shivered in pleasure.
"Leo." My voice was slightly hoarse. "Stop."
Leo stared deeply into my eyes. "No."
"Leo." I grabbed his hand. "You don't want to do this." I said softly.
"But I do!" Leo replied.
"No, you don't." I reiterated.
I leaned forward and hugged Leo. Leo simply laid there in my arms.
******************
The very next day, we were woken up by a loud banging on the door. I went down the stairs and opened the front door while still in my pyjamas. In front of me stood one man and one woman. The man was wearing a beige colored trench coat with a shirt and tie inside. The woman was simply wearing a suit and tie.
"Mr. Lee. I am Detective Edward Clarke with XXPD." The detective said in a deep voice, he pointed at the policewoman standing next to him, "This is Amelia Lewis, my partner." Both of them showed me their badges. "May we please come in."
"Of course." I replied.
After the detectives came in, I saw Uncle Evan and Aunt June standing on the street.
"Uncle Evan? Aunt June?" I asked.
Both of them came into my house as well, they explained, "These police officers just came into our house to find Leo. I told them he was here."
Detective Clarke nodded.
"Hunter? What is going on?" Leo asked groggily, rubbing his eyes. He was obviously still sleepy. He was wearing his pyjamas while his hair was completely messed up.
"Leo. We would like you to come down to the police station for some questioning." Detective Clarke said softly.
Leo immediately stiffened. "Are you suspecting that I had a hand in the arson of the oak tree?" He whimpered.
Seeing the boy being scared witless, the motherly insticts of Detective Lewis activated. "No, Leo. We just want to ask you some questions. You're not being suspected of anything." She coaxed.
"Yet." I thought.
"Does my son need to have a lawyer present?" Uncle Evan said in a distressed tone.
"Things are not that serious, Mr. Wilson. It is simply some normal questioning. We do that to all the students involved." Detective Clarke reasoned.
"Then why aren't you questioning Hunter?" Uncle Evan retorted.
Detective Clarke froze. Lewis followed him up and replied, "We will question Hunter when the time is right, Mr. Wilson, but we believe that Leo would be able to provide more precious intel than Hunter."
Uncle Evan was unable to stop the detectives from taking Leo.
Leo reluctantly went back upstairs and changed before coming back down.
"Let's go." Clarke directed Leo to follow them. We walked behind Leo and watched as he was taken away by the two detectives.
