As soon as I slashed the head of that last demon, I felt my head becoming light and eyes heavy, and then there was a loud thudding sound. Am I dying? I heard heavy footsteps approaching me. And that is the last thing I remember before the darkness consumed me.

I felt someone slapping my face vigorously and continuously. I tried to pry open my eyes a little and when I did, I shut it close tightly since I was finding it difficult as I was feeling the lights were too bright for me to open my eyes. I tried to listen to my surroundings and was able to hear a chorus of voices from Grandma, Mom, and Aunt Grace chanting.
