Freya had already cleaned the villa just yesterday, so she was very free today.

After the man went to the study, she checked out the whole villa since she had to do the chores here.

The villa had a lot of greenery, but very little maintenance was required. Freya simply had to water the plants every now and then. This would help save Freya a lot of trouble.

She finished making dinner at 6:00 p.m. When she went over to the study and was about to knock on the door, she could hear him talking to someone on the phone.

"You will report for work on Monday."

"I will take care of it."

After exchanging a few words, Gideon stopped talking. She raised her hand and wanted to knock on the door, but the man suddenly opened it.

Freya instinctively took a step back and raised her head to look at the man. He had one hand on the door handle while he held a lit cigarette in the other. She could smell the scent of the cigarette wafting in the air.
