Luke's POV

Sitting in history staring at the board, one would think I probably grasped the lesson being given better than anyone but I can't seem to concentrate. I feel like there's a void inside me that makes me numb. All I can think about is what could possibly be happening to her. Last night I couldn't sleep. Each second and minute without her makes me feel like I'm losing my mind, the world feels like a gloomy place. 

" Mr Matthew, Mr Matthew! "

I'm startled by the sharp call and look around feeling confused. 

When my eyes come across the teacher, she seems to be in a fit and something tells me it's my fault.
