Linda's POV

A certain look I can't describe comes into his eyes and he signals his men to put down their guns. 

They hesitantly concede to his request. 

But I don't put down my gun. I can't trust Nikon. 

He grabs the barrel and drags the gun out of my hand. Then slaps me hard, causing me to fall to the ground. He leans down to face me, holding my chin up. " Monello " he spits out with disgust clear in his tone. " I could have easily had you killed before you even thought of pulling that trigger. The next time you so much as raise that gun at me, I will make sure my men leave you with so many holes in your body that what is left of you wouldn't fit in a ten years' old coffin. "

He lets go of my chin in a not so gentle manner. " Let them be " he says to his men who become at ease immediately.
