章節 3: 3. Annoyance.
Rose grabs a bottle of black liquid before storming around counter. This was a special liquid used by the guild to see the crests and status boards of various adventurers who are either seeking promotion or changing familia.
"Guards be ready to drag this man to the jail when he is proven a liar." She says towards the guild gaurds who nod.
Ryan just shoots her a sneer.
Uncorking the bottle of black liquid Rose can't wait to prove thos guy a liar! Dripping some potion onto the muscular back between the shoulder blades, she waits. And nothing happens the potion just rolls down his back making her frown. So she tries again and still nothing happens.
"Are you fucking done yet? Want to bring in some gods to check? Or want to continue calling me a liar to prove your superiority?" Ryan's tone is absolutely venomous.
Standing up he walks back over to the counter, "Can I register now or are people going to just keep calling me a liar all day?" He asks the second receptionist.
"I'm sorry sir! The guild will cover your registration fee as an apology." The blonde haired elf says bowing slightly.
"Whatever, can you register me and can I have a list of the familia that are currently recruiting and maybe something to wipe off my back." Ryan says still angry but trying to reel it in.
"Of course sir let me help you!" The elf says quickly grabbing a towel and heading around the counter to wipe off the ink potion.
"Thank you." Ryan says putting his shirt and holster back on before slinging his sword over his back.
After that the registration was done quickly and he was given a list of familia and where they lived in Orario that were currently recruiting. He got the full 1700 valis, a small pouch with an iron knife which had some food bars and bandages inside with a steel canteen, as the starter pack. He would also be assigned a dungeon guide.
He hooks the pouch onto his belt and deposits the money before looking over the list of gods and goddesses. Honestly he doesn't really want to join a familia and be under someone, however it's supposed to be the only way to get stronger.
He had read the light novel before but hadn't gotten too far into it and doesn't remember much besides a few key points.
"Thank you for the help." Ryan says tucking the city map into his pouch with the list. Turning around he head for the exit completely ignoring the red headed werewolf.
Pulling out the map there is a couple of shops marked along with a few inns and places to eat.
Finding a food stall even though he isn't really hungry is rather easy and he buys a couple of chicken sticks which are pretty good and finds a place to sit before looking over the list of gods and goddesses currently recruiting.
However he doesn't spot the Hestia family which is probably the best one to join. "Forget it, I'll decide later on when I can't get any further in the dungeon."
Joining a big familia is out, he doesn't want to have to wait however long to get status updates from busy gods or goddesses.
A small familia would be best.
Finishing up his chicken sticks he heads over to find a room at an inn and finally check out his items fully.
Honestly he felt pretty content and excited looking around the city. Even if he was forced into this world as some kind of stupid prize he wasn't going to let that bother him. I mean the past few hours he has been off killing goblins in a dungeon, how exciting is that?
Finding a small inn he pays for a room and heads up eager to see what all hes got in the ring, he had spotted quite a few interesting items.
Closing the door behind him he starts browsing through the ring. Inside are various clothes from the characters such as Vincent's cloak which Ryan takes out to marvel at. It's kind of ethereal and alive sort of like Dr.Stranges cloak but more ghost like.
Swinging it over his shoulder it clasps together hiding his body up to his nose down to his feet, it could even form a hood if he wanted hiding his whole body.
"Ah that's cool!" There was kind of a seperate space inside made of darkness he could hide his body it even hid the large blade on his back from view. Plus it can restore from things like cuts or bullet holes. Honestly it's a top tier cloak, probably a good magical artifact in this world.
Speaking of bullet holes, Vincent's main weapon was guns, specifically a couple of large revolvers which were in the ring as well. Along with various kinds of bullets, luckily Vincent had knowledge of how to make bullets seeing as he made all of his own.
Another good item were the various blades of Cloud including his advent children fusion sword. A bunch of blades which could be combined together into a single blade.
As for Darts weapons, there was a worm like ball and a staff.
"Oh dragon buster sword!" grabbing the ball of worms from the ring it dug into his hand and vanished. Focusing on it, a hilt appeared out of his hand before lighting up with an orange energy blade looking like a lightsaber kind of. "A dragon slaying weapon and a light saber all in one!" Didn't even care if it was a worm like weapon that lived in his body.
As for the staff it was called the dragon block staff and could not only weaken dragons but hold them in place like a seal. Both good pieces of dragon slayer equipment! If I recall there is some one eyed black dragon or something in this world?
Sadly the staff couldn't be stored in my body like the dragon buster sword. Going back to the ring he continues looking over the items.
