The days Eve promised to Victor turned out to count in three. On the morning of the third day Beistand said, "I can't find out any additional factors fitting the given parameters."
Despite that, Eve spent the rest of it checking and re-checking for the thousandth time every piece of the anti-virus, but couldn't find fault. It was ready to be released.
Her hands shook with emotion as Eve used the lab equipment to produce a sample ready for distribution and pack it into an air-tight test tube. It was made from reinforced glass and wouldn't break by accident. The safety measures, though, felt redundant. Eve planned to release the anti-virus in the air, anyway. If she dropped the tube and it broke, it won't cause another zombie apocalypse. Quite the opposite.
Coincidentally, calming people down never worked before. At least for long.
