The teacher started talking and i was listening but i was also fully aware if the human being next to me drawing god knows what in a book.
My heart was betraying my brain and this was not my ideal situation but we will have to make it work.
Everytime i tried to signal arizona about my dieing state right now she just laughted and acted as if she was paying attention ...this is how it went the whole period went.
Me stalking him , my heart being over dramatic , trying to ask arizona to save me and her refusing. while also trying to write notes and then repeat cycle. He was actually smart which shocked me and it was kinda cute i mean, taking his overall appearance you'd never think this guy over here with the hair and mesmerizing eyes would be a whizz it was really attractive.
I felt very excited as the buzzer rang for break allowing me to break free from whatever spell he had on me but karma decided that i should have bad luck today.

"Yes Mr lakes"
"I have assigned a mentor and guide to each of the new students except alex He seems to not want one but i want you to do it " he gave me a half evil half goodluck smile and walked out of the room my mouth hanging open
"Aleya was it , its a nice name , so lets get this show on the road ... where to?" I turned to see Alex leaning against the table.
"Um yea about that i thought you didnt want a guide"i replied
"Oh well i changed my mind" he said flashing a smile

I turned around
"So what do you want to see / know first" i asked giving my best fake smile ever
It was the awkward silence that helped me realise that we we're both in a classroom alone while everyone was far away doing their own thing

"What about we go through the classes and cafeteria and stuff and then end with the library"
"Great " i said genuinely ...i loved the library
2 hours later
We were finally headed to the library turns out alex here wasn't such a bad guy
He loved books and modern art which i would never turned down
He is a bit cocky but an overall down to earth guy
"You know you are useful for something"
"What do you mean ?"
"Well you got me a free afternoon and even though you are here your not so bad company" i zoned out for a bit but not long enough for me not to hear his words
"Well thats because we were destined to meet"
What was that and what exactly does that mean.
He looked up to me with a smile
"So you used me to get a free afternoon huh?"
"Oh no no no , mr lakes got me stuck with you , sorry but im not really the social type of person i like to keep to myself"
"Good to know , well im the type of person who takes what he wants and if i cant i trap it until its mine , social? far from it but possessive yea and thats what scares people away"
"Seriously i took you for the playboy emo kinda thing"
"Thats far from who i really am and that was your first impression of me what about now ,what do you think of me now that we have talked?"
"Less emo still a playboy , kinda down to earth though"
I opened the door to the huge library the school owned and led him inside
All the people who were there suddenly left ...it was awkward
"So what kind of books are you into"
He asked
"Well i like the classics like william shakespear but im not always in the mood to be serious so i mostly read fiction i love fiction , romance and paranormal attractions that sort of thing"
"What about you?"
"I read mostly poetry but i do love classics and when 'im not in the mood' i read adventure , mystery occasionlly paranormal stuff ..you could say i read everything i can get my hands on"
I laughted as he pulled a chair out for me to sit
"I know what you mean"
You should browse around, i know i will in a minute"
I heard my phone going off with messages so i sat to check whats going on.

After that short conversation i realised everything was quiet , where did alex go?
I woke up from my seat and went to my favourite authors section pulled out a book and went back to sit by the table
Its better if he left i wanted some quiet time
After reading 3 pages of "blood" i slowly dozed off into dreamworld
A million colours swirled and i had to block my eyes so that i didnt get blinded by the bright light , suddenly im pulled into this vaccume and i land in this dark room. "anybody there"i screamed but there was no reply. Suddenly i heard a noise it was soft but i still heard it . Before i knew what happening a man was running at me with lighting speed before he got to me i was pulled into an open space.I panicked and a blood curling scream escaped my lips as i see that man again but this time his eyes glowed a blood red surrounded by nothing but darkness,this time i want going anywhere just before the creature made inpact with my body somebody stepped infront of me and blocked me in a hug.
In shock i look up and see ...

Who then faints and once again im pulled out of that place.
I woke up like normal and see im still at the library. I feel a pair of eyes on me and look up to see alex looking at me with his hands crossed.
It was sunset and i slowly start recollecting my dream
Urg , wait till the gang hears about that. I can already see their faces telling me "you read to much thats why your getting wierd dreams"

I stretch
"Why didnt you wake me up?
And why are you still here"i asked
"Well 1) you looked peacefully asleep and who am i to wake you up 2) why would i leave a girl alone in a library on a school night "
"Whatever you should be gone"

He smartly replies
I pack my stuff
Check my book out since i had the key to the computer because i work here occasionally
And head out all the while alex following me.
As i walked out the school
Alex caught my arm
"Its getting kinda late , why dont you let me drop you"
"No i can walk"
"Please that what friends do , you do consider me your friend right?" He askes pulling the puppy dog face on me
