章節 62: The Three Forms!

The red glowing eyes glaring at us was enough to make me faint. But the manly voice coming from the monster made things worse.

"Is there a bathroom around? I need to pee." Xavier whispered, trying not to sound scared. His hand was shivering so much; the flame sword was emitting lesser light. Oliver looked as frightened as I was. Lily too, looked aghast and panic-stricken, her hands to one of her daggers.

"Even after the incident two weeks ago, people come here to die. That is good for me, though." He said. I noticed that my legs were shivering, almost throwing me to the ground. "A man and a woman came here. The man came close enough but the lady escaped. Well, he was a good dinner. I assume you are here to die as well."

"We are the DELTAs." I said with confidence which was shocking considering the situation. Raptor had a laugh. "So, what should I do? You may be informed that these chains have been loosening and would have come here to kill me or something. Seriously, people still know about my tale?"

The way he talked, it seemed he was certain to kill us in one go. "Now that you know a little, let me grow your information. Stupid Darknorians sealed me deep beneath here with chains resistant to anything except for magic. I have three forms. One is the way you see me now." He began explaining. If he thought we could really see his whole body, he was wrong. Only his red eyes could be seen in the dark cave. "The other is my Magic form. And the third… well, you will not live long enough to know the third."

He struggled his hands ahead, pulling the now weak-looking chains. We got our weapons ready, unsheathed them for any action. "The point is… my magic form can free me from these chains. From the past two thousand years, I have been trying to return to my Magic form which has proved to be difficult since the chains don't let me. After an unimaginable struggle since two thousand years, I have now finally regained the power to change forms." He said.

The whole three-form thing was making me dizzy. We couldn't fight even one form and he was talking about three. My axe felt heavy with the information and my own fear. "Keep dreaming for another two thousand years. You aren't going anywhere." Lily shouted. We looked at her like; He can tear us right now. Shut your confidence.

Raptor giggled. By giggling, I mean the sound of a lion's roar. "You really are something, hoping to defeat me without reaching heaven. I would be the first one to appreciate your courage, girl. But alas, you can do nothing expect a scratch to me." Raptor replied. That seemed to get Lily because she looked hurt.

"Enough of your nonsense! DELTAs, time to finish this chapter." I yelled. The others obeyed and got into their action positions. "Darknorians never learn. I guess I have no other choice." Raptor replied. Then, with a loud roar of Raptor, the chains broke.
