章節 12: 11 || Double jointed
"Fuck" Daniel said getting pushed back by the shadow surrounded by a purple armour.
*Beep*
"I'm low, I should back off for now" He said dashing to the back, out of the shadow's range of sight.
A bright cyan light shined out his hand, a transparent bottle with silver accents filled with a red liquid. It emitted a sweet smell, similar to that of a cherry.
"The guide book really is good, it's exactly what I need to be the best" Daniel said grinning at his meager self accomplishment.
A bright red flash shone from the shadow's helmet visor. A quick downward slash soon followed after, leaving it open for a counterattack.
"Lance" Daniel pierced through the armour, leaving the shadow to slowly evaporate into blue particles.
"Alright, I'm finally level 8" He said pumping his fist in the air.

A familiar white notification screen shot into Daniel's face. "I'm getting really lucky with these drops" He said questioning his abnormal luck.
He scrolled through multiple menu's and titles, he stopped at the item [Shadow Visor].

"Pretty good, not anything to brag about though" Daniel said equipping the purple visor.
It had a matte finish, with white accents. It also has a sharp, beak-like point shaped into the top, making it seem as if a horn had sprouted out.
The new appearance of Daniel's suited his nickname quiet well, all that could be seen was his devilish grin.
"I should probably go home for now, I shouldn't waste my resources" Daniel said, lifting the visor from abscuring his vision.
A quick flash of light appeared where he stood. He vanished into bright particles, sending him back to the town square.
Particles re-assembled in the centre of the empty square. The surrounding pillars were lit up by the bright light emitted by Daniel's return.
...
"So bored!" Daichi said chowing down on a chicken-less bone. A loud crunch and shatter of bones could only be heard in the room.
It was once again filled with piles of clothes and fast food waste, "Get to the good part!" He shouted.
Daichi was mentally a sixteen year-old, He felt very little obligation to what didn't entertain him.
"Ok then, I'll make it more interesting" Daichi started typing with his greasy fingers, leaving oil all over his desk.
...
Daniel continued his stroll through the starter town, still as desolate as I was before. "Humans really learn how to adapt quickly don't they?" He said to himself. The empty streets were of no shock to him.
He adapted to change like them, just quicker. "I guess I always had good adaptability" Daniel said, looking into his past memories..
..
"What are you doing brat!?" A loud shout came from atop the young boys shoulders. A tall skinny man with baggy skin slouched around the boy.
"Sorry Teacher Mazoku " The boy said bowing and continuing throw the long wooden stick around himself. 'Fucking old bastard!' The boy shouted internally at the old man.
A loud snap and break rebounded through the walls. "Fuck" The boy said landing on the ground holding his right ankle.
Mazoku didn't rush over in worry or pity, we walked over just to see the crying face of the small boy. "What a disappointment, why were you even sent here?" The old man said turning his head away from the boy.
"Prick" The boy said, spitting out his saliva at the thought of Mazoku's face.
He brushed himself off and propped himself back up to the standing position but with a slight limp.
"Shit" The boy fell back down to the ground rolling onto the soft mattress like blue floor mats.
...
"I wonder if that prick is still alive?" Daniel face turned sour at the thought of seeing that baggy face again.
<You've entered a hidden room>
Daniel looked at the notice, and continued to walk. "What a pain" Daniel groaned, swiftly dodging the flying crossbow bolts.
*Snap*
A large hammer came barreling in from Daniel's left. He sighed and hit the deck, bending his legs in a unbelievable pattern.
"Good thing I'm still flexible" Daniel said pushing himself back from his weird position. He counted to walk at a slow pase, passing throwing the haze of bolts and other traps.
<You've made it to the second room>
A bright light moved Daniel to a pitch black room with multiple red eyes and blips facing towards him.
"Are you trying to kill me off early?" Daniel said slicing the head off one of the shadows. As its head rolled out of the darkness, long green scales revealed themselves along with large red eyes.
"Lizardmen" Daniel said looking down at the severed head before it dissolved into bright particles.
*Snarl*
A quick motion came from the lizardman behind Daniel, making a large bite mark in his neck.
"Been a while since I felt cornered" Daniel said smirking at the revealing Lizardmen attacking him simultaneously.
