章節 85: P: Empty Evasions

Brendan had issued the code that remotely activated the King's upgrades to his residence before leaving the station he'd ended his race at. With that, only a few outer system Security branches were isolated from the upgraded communication system, and most of those could borrow a ship's communicator to beam out messages that contained the new encryption they had distributed.

 He was currently remembering with nostalgia how much time he'd had to spend playing games in between the race checkpoints, as he reviewed the next document that awaited the King's approval.

The knees pressed up against the sides of the tiny cabin on either side of him shifted again. He shifted his own knees against the pull the deceleration was now putting on his joints, and focused on the screen.

"I've gone crazy," Adrian muttered, the sound of the quiet words too loud in the confined space.

"You helped fit the seat in," Brendan pointed out as he set his print on the document.
