Kristofer clamped his mouth. He had been really concerned for Anna's safety and he worried that something terrible happened to her.
When he found her on the ground a while ago, he immediately brought her to the clinic. The doctor present wrapped a bandage around her swollen ankle and advised her to rest her back.
She had quite a nasty fall. When they went back to grab breakfast, he was curious what she was doing at the side of the restaurant, behind a bush.
Anna mumbled her reply. She never knew how to lie, and Kristofer found it a little cute.
But her response to his query was even more adorable.
He was trying not to laugh, biting on the side of his cheek. Clearing his throat, Kristofer handed Anna the chocolate syrup for the pancake she ordered.
"What lesson did you learn from that, Anna?"
Anna glared at Kristofer. She spread the syrup evenly on top of the pancake, killing it with the fork as she took a small piece.
