章節 70: We Have A Problem

Jonah was reading over Troy's bogus story about moving to Milwaukee for what felt like the millionth time feeling unsettled. He didn't like this. Stringing Eden along only to pretend to move away had been a terrible idea from the start.

The front door slammed open and he looked up to see panic on his cousin's face. This couldn't be good.

"Jonah, we have a problem," Troy said breathlessly. "My gig tonight was Eden's best friend's wedding. She recognized me and thought I was you."

"What?!"

"I know! Her brother was there and totally freaked me out by playing the bad guy and pressured me into agreeing to see her on Tuesday because she was all upset about you avoiding her and basically we're screwed."

Jonah blinked at him, having a hard time processing this. "Start from the beginning. I don't understand half of what you're saying."
