Chapter 23: The Name's Felix. Felix Jason Nostra
Christian's POV
I woke up at 7 am nagulat pa nga ako kasi hindi ako maagang nagigising kaya nga sa aming magbabarkada I'm always the late one. I opened my phone and decided to chat everyone asking if they're awake. Bumangon na ako mula sa hinihigaan ko I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face nagpabango din ako konti after that lumabas na ako
Christian: You guys awake?
Walter: Yep we're all awake they're all in my room naglalaro na nang XBOX si Leandro at Markus, si Alex he's taking selfies everywhere, and I'm watching tv with Angelica
Angelica: Yeah goodmorning ayaw ko ngang bumaba kanina kasi nahihiya ako kaya dito nalang ako pumunta sa kwarto ni Walter. Leandro was here first tapos ako si Alex mga 10 minutes ago pa lang.
Alex: GOODMORING NEW YORK! nahihiya ka pa pala Angelica
Angelica: Che suntukin kita dyan
Leandro: Lika na dita Chris para sabay na tayong bumaba gutom na ako
Christian: ok omw
Bumangon na ako mula sa higaan ko I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face, nagpabango din ako konti after that I went out of my room and knocked at Walter's door after three knocks the door opened and we all went down to have breakfast. Nagulat naman kami nang makita namin si Andy na may kasamang lalake sa living room nila
"Uy gising na pala kayo this is Felix Nostra my suitor. He's also one of Morphia's stock holders and he's the owner of the famous NBA basketball team" proud na sabi ni Andy. Christian just sighed at nauna nang pumunta sa dining
Nagpakilala naman kaming lahat kay Felix except kay Christian while looking at Andy and Felix pain was evident in his eyes.
"Tara na muna sa dining" nauna nang pumasok sina Andy at Felix sa dining nakita namin si Leandro sa isa sa mga upuan doon halatang lutang at nasasaktan sa mga nakikita nya. Sobrang maalaga ni Felix kay Andy kapag nakikita ko silang dalawa parang may kung anong sakit akong nararamdaman sa puso ko pero hindi ko nalang pinansin.
"So Felix ano kayo nang pamangkin ko?" biglaang tanong ni Leandro we all stopped eating except for Markus and waited for Felix's response
He smiled, hinawakan nya ang kamay ni Andy at ngumite "I'm courting her"
Napaubo naman kaming dalawa ni Christian sa sinabi ni Felix agad naman akong pinainom ni Walter nang tubig sabay tanong kung okay ka lang ba ako I just nodded at him.
"kilala mo naman siguro ako diba Nostra we've been in some meetings before sa oras na saktan mo ang pamangkin ko I'll make sure we'll rot together" Leandro said all of that while smiling
sumabat naman si Andy "He knows Leandro he's not like other guys out there kaya nga pinayagan ko syang ligawan ako diba"
Nag usap lang silang lahat about business and other stuff that I couldn't understand pero I have a feeling that Andy likes Felix. Pagkatapos naming kumain Andy announced that she and Felix were assigned by her grandparents to tour us in New York so we all got ready sobrang excited pa nga ni Markus since it was his first time in New York sumakay kaming lahat sa iisang van. Andy told us na dadaan daw muna sya sa Morphia kasi may kailangan daw syang pirmahan para sa sweldo nang mga tao nya. We stopped infront of a huge building she asked us if we wanted to have a tour lahat naman kami ay pumayag
"Okay so tara na baba na tayo"
We went inside the building sobrang dami nang staff nya and her building's huge she toured us in each department nakaktuwa kasi in every department iba't iba yung colors at design nang buong floor everything was also well organized when we reached her office it was a combination of black, gold, and red in every angle of her office it screamed power, she signed some paper works and we proceeded to our next destination which was the time square we decided to walk since sobrang lapit lang naman we all decided to go shopping sobrang nakakatuwa it our 1st day in New York and it's also my first time travelling alone with Walter and our friends since sanay na sila Andy at Felix sa New York sumunod nalang kami sa shops kung saan sila pumupunta. Nandito kami ngayon sa H&M medyo maraming tao pero it wasn't toxic Felix was holding Andy's hand as if anytime mawawala sya I felt a pang of pain in my chest when I saw them together pero alam kong mali ang nararamdaman ko kaya I decided to look for clothes H&M here in the Times Square is really big that's why we decided to split and meet outside H&M after 45 minutes kasama ko si Walter pumipili kami nang damit sa women's section grabe si Walter sobrang dami na naming dala since he wanted to shop for me parang sya pa yung babae sa aming dalawa.
"Walter mapupuno naman yung closet ko sa ginagawa mo" saway ko sa kanya
"Sweetypie you can always dispose your old clothes bigay mo sa foundation tamang tama after new year may foundation na pupuntahan si mama"
ewan ko ba kay Walter he bought me clothes and shoes grabe halos mapuno na yung cart namin sa dami nang nilalagay nya pumunta din kami sa men's section I bought him clothes, shoes, and caps as well hindi naman pwedeng ako lang bilhan nya we decided to go to the dressing room he went to the men's and I went to the women's to fit a pair of clothes na match kaming dalawa we went out of the dressing room katapat lang naman yung dressing room nang lalake at babae nagulat naman ako nang nakita ko si Andy at Felix na nag pipicture sa mirror they both looked so kood together lumabas na din si Walter we checked ourselves out as well
"We look good in this tara na let's pay"
Hindi na nga kami napansin nina Felix at Andy kaya pumunta na kami sa cashier Walter payed for everything pinagalitan ko pa sya kasi sobrang dami nang binili namin tapos sya nagbayad lahat
"Walter naman atleast let me pay you back andami nito tapos ikaw nag bayad lahat"
"Angelica I know you have your own money pero gusto ko ako ang mag bayad para sa pinamili natin okay libre mo nalang ako nang pagkain okay love now let's go dahil baka naghihintay na sila sa atin" inakabayan nya ako at sabay na kaming lumabas
"grabe Walter at Angelica parang kayo yung sobrang daming binili naubusan na ba kayo nang gamit?" natatawang tanong ni Alex
"Si Walter naman kasi eh he kept on putting things on our cart" binatukan naman agad ni Walter si Alex
"Just keep quite okay ang ingay mo"
Tumawa naman kaming lahat we went to other shops and bought some things after 2 hours we decided to eat it was already 1:30 in the afternoon we decided to eat at The Capital Grille hindi talaga kami nag decide sina Felix at Andy gusto sana namin nang fastfood but they insisted to go on a fine dining restaurant kasi may reservation daw si Felix
Pag pasok namin agad kaming sinalubong nang server tinaasan nya kami agad nang kilay
"Madams and Sirs we are fully booked for this afternoon we- Andy immediately cut him off
"We have a reservation under the name of Felix. Felix Jason Nostra" Andy smiled at the sever politely
"I am so sorry Sir F-Felix and Madam t-this way please" as usual pangalan pa lang ni Felix takot na agad yung server
We sat on the table for us and we started ordering sobrang tahimik ni Christian hindi nga sya nagsasalita
"Andy for the past months why didn't you contact me?" tanong sa kanya ni Alex
"I've been very busy lately kaya I couldn't contact you"
"Busy with your new boy huh" gulat naman kaming lahat sa sinabi ni Christian
"You can say that as well he's been helping me with my business"
After that there was an awkward silence nang mag salita si Felix
"Mr. Ngo I believe you and Andy had something in the past but that doesn't mean you're her present that doesn't mean you have the rights to talk to her that way" matigas na sabi ni Felix
I couldn't believe he's saying all those things he just told me na sa kanya ako kahapon tapos ngayon it seems like he's madly inlove with Andy
"The food's here let's just eat and go home baka patayin nyo pa nag isa't isa sabi ni Leandro"
So that's what we did we ate in silence and went home sila Felix naman at Andy nagpaalam sa amin kasi may pupuntahan pa daw sila nagpahing naman silang lahat except sa amin ni Christian we were in the terrace since may maliit din na living room doon
"Felix used to be my fiance" I broke our silence
"Huh? He was your fiance?" halatang gulat na gulat si Christian sa sinabi ko
"Yeah we were arranged nung grade seven kami we knew each other eversince we were kids"
"Why did you break up?"
I sighed remembering the pain of the past "His biological dad was sick so he had to go to Italy he promised to come back for me...but he didn't he stayed in Italy, ang nakakatawa pa nagkita kami sa McDo before we went to the airport kaya natagalan ako kasi nag usap kami he told me he came back pero I don't believe him"
"Why are you telling me all of this Angelica?"
"I know na hindi nya talaga mahal si Andy so you still have a chance" napatingin naman sya sa akin
"Do you still love that guy Angelica?"
Hindi ako nakasagot sa tanong nya
"You don't have to answer it I know the answer soon you gotta choose Angelica remember that" with that he left me alone in the terrace
Nag isip ako tungkol sa mga nangyari sa amin ni Felix noon inabot na nga ako nang gabi sa terrace until narinig ko ang busina nang sasakyan ni Felix bumaba ako at nakita ko sila ni Andy na papasok sa mansion nang mga Ledezma
Andy smiled when she saw me "O Andy tawagin mo na sila let's have dinner na"
"il mio amore mauna ka na muna sa dining okay I'll just to Angelica so that we can catch up"
"stop with the endearments potato go and catch up with Angelica I just can't believe you guys are friends napakatino ni Angelica tapos ikaw basagulero hay nako potato go na" Andy said while laughing pumunta na sya sa dining
"I wanna talk to you Angelica alone sa garden let's go" nauna nang maglakad si Felix sa akin sumunod naman ako sa kanya
We sat in the tea table of the garden na katabi nang fountain
"So I'll explain I never left you Angelica your dad sent that letter I never left you nagulat nalang ako nung pumunta ako sa bahay nyo wala na kayo doon God knows how much I love you my dad might be bad pero I never killed a single person back in Italy you know me I'm smart so I'm just the head of the technical group of my dad's business I'm a trainor as well but hindi ako pumapatay I'm just a reserved assassin yung kay Andy I'm just using her to get closer with you again okay" tumayo sya at niyakap ako
"kaya pala naisip ko din noon kasi hindi naman maganda yung sulat kamay mo eh yung sa letter napakaganda nang pagkasulat I'm sorry I didn't believe you Fel I-I'm sorry" umiyak na ako after all this years I felt so happy again
"Let's get back together please" naiiyak na sabi ni Felix
"Hindi pwede Felix may Walter na ako ngayon all I can offer to you is frienship"
"I'll steal you away from him Shane remember that" he kissed my forehead at tumalikod na
Narrator's POV
Ang hindi alam ni Felix at Angelica nakita sila ni Andy her tears slowly fell down she felt anger and betrayal for the second time again tumalikod na din sya, all of them ate in silence halatang umiiwas si Felix at Angelica sa isa't isa but everytime Walter acted sweet Felix would glare at the both of them napansin ni Andy lahat 'yon but she stayed silent for the rest of the evening.....
