She immediately went to search for the man that she would need for her plan. She needed to see him before he left. He was about to leave his bedroom when she found him. 

"Can we talk first before you go?" Johanna said as soon as she was near. 

As much as she hated to do this, he was the only one she could trust to help her. If only her father believed she could handle their underground business, then she would not need this man.

"It depends what we have to talk about." He looked at her, a bit skeptical of her plans. He wondered what was going on through her mind now.

It was not like her to seek him out. Lately, as far as he knew, she avoided him as if he had a plague. But who was he to turn her down?

"I need your help." She again remembered the first time that she sought his help. 

"Then, come in. So, we can talk." He opened his door again and let her in.
