That was it. She had finally told him her deepest secret. She could see that he heard her, but he had remained silent, not saying or doing anything. He covered his face with his arm as if he was not sure of what he just heard as they still laid on the makeshift blanket in front of the fire.

Was that it? She feared that telling him finally sealed her fate. She could be losing him for good, but she had to try to make him understand. At least, he had not walked out on her yet. There was still hope for her as she waited for him to react.

He eventually sat up from his lying position, placing his face on the palms of his hand. I could see the movement of his muscles as he breathed heavily. She suddenly felt cold from losing his warmth around her.

"I'm Sky," She repeated, hoping this time it would finally register in his mind what she was saying to him. "Aren't you going to ask me anything?"
