章節 6: The Beast Wave
My brothers and I went outside the village except for World End who stayed at the village to protect the villagers from the incoming beast wave.
My brothers and I have surrounded the Sword Spirit Village so that none of the monsters will be able to pass through the Sword Spirit Village.
Even if the monsters manage to slip past through my brother and I's defenses, they still will not be able to wreak havoc and destruction upon the Sword Spirit Village since World End will end their life before the monsters manage to destroy the Sword Spirit Village.
I enhanced my eyesight using my sword qi and I found out from a few miles away that the blast wave was heading towards the Sword Spirit Village while some of the beast waves headed towards the other side of the mountain and forest.
At the other side of the mountain and forest, lies the other monster villages such as the village of orcs, spirits, goblins, druids, treants, and other humanoid and non-humanoid monsters.
Since the beast wave is still a few miles away from my current location, I decide to sit on the ground and meditate.
My brothers follow suit as they sit on the ground and meditate.
Well, the truth is that my brothers or my other forms are not my real brothers nor my other forms.
They are other ancient swords such as myself but due to the special sword art that I possess, I can communicate with the other ancient swords and request for them to deliver a fragment of their soul.
Therefore, I can have different sword forms at the same time. Although, there are a few ancient swords that I am not able to communicate with.
It is either the other few ancient swords did not want to communicate with me or their sword spirit was minuscule or depleted so they can't communicate with me.
I have planned that after my brothers and I withstood the beast wave, we would visit the other monster villages to communicate with them and better yet, make some sort of friendly connection with them.
After all, it's best to have more allies than enemies.
I believe that I'm one of the strongest in this entire mountain and forest so it shouldn't be a problem to withstand the beast wave let alone negotiate with the other monster villages.
Also, it will not be that much of a problem if Doom Destruction died during his travels since my sword qi is enough to create several forms of mine.
It was a good investment for me to build a connection with the ancient swords a hundred years ago or else my rebirth will be filled with a lot of obstacles.
So far, my journey to improving my strength has been smooth sailing due to my connections with the ancient swords and my knowledge from my past.
I also have a lot of knowledge about the truth of the world and the heavenly laws such as the law of casualty and the law of reality so it isn't that hard to improve my cultivation tier to the next layer.
As I thought of that while meditating, I pick up something within the area of my divine sense and I notice the presence of a decent amount of monsters that have reached Saint Tier.
There are also a few monsters that have reached the Divine Tier while those monsters have surpassed my brothers and me in terms of cultivated layers such as a monster possessing a cultivation tier and layer of Divine Tier Layer 5.
A few minutes have passed and the monsters from the beast wave are only a kilometer away from my brothers and me.
"World End has activated the thunder defense and earth offense array. Prepare to attack the incoming monsters!"
I yelled towards my brothers while we channeled our sword qi throughout our body and release some of our sword intent.
All of us take an attack stance while waiting for the monsters to reach our attack range.
After a few seconds have passed, the monsters finally reached our attack range.
"Release our strongest area of effect attack first to wipe out most of the monsters!"
I yelled as I commanded my brothers.
