"Okay, what's with the face?" Lais asks behind me as I carefully load my magazines.

I always only ever carry a .45 on me, even on missions like this. I like how they are designed to be small, handy, yet deadly at the same time. I load the bullets one by one, carefully setting them in place. I usually carry them on a carrier on my legs, for easy access.

But Lais is right, a monotonous task like this only gives me time to think of…well, other things.

"What face?" I ask.

"Your 'I'm thinking' face."

"And what is my "I am thinking face'?" I ask again, still attempting to busy myself with reloading my magazine.

"Your eyes go blank as if you're seeing through stuff, which I'm like 60 percent sure you can. Then your pupils dilate and you tilt your head. Like this, like a bond villain," he responds.

"Do I really do that?" I ask, tilting my head, proving his point.
