Serenica rowed, occasionally glancing to the shore she had left behind for all of eternity. At times, she felt yearning for the earthly pleasures of flesh and mind, but she had a mission, even if she could hardly even remember it anymore.

She shook herself, trying to keep herself in check, trying to anchor herself to her objective. She had to find the rope.

She had an idea about the nature of said rope. She couldn't believe it, though. That rope had been cut to pieces a long time ago. Things didn't just happen like that. Ropes did not get second changes, there was no rebirth process for them, once it had been hacked up, it really wasn't supposed to come back together again.

Serenica found herself getting nauseous from thinking of impossible things like that.
