Serenica thought about black magic, she thought about her lover and finally, when she had no more thoughts left, she had some tea with the inventor genius. Ed had mentioned that there was a bloodline he wanted to discuss with her. She thought there would not be much to talk about, as science was rarely a matter of running one's mouth.

"I'm not really into mysterious reveals, so I will just put this out here and we can do what we must," he said and took a sip, even though the tea was lethally hot. His mouth had probably received a small anesthetic dose of corna earlier.

"You are the descendant of the people who built the statue," Ed said. "All Raelians are."

Serenica spit out her sugary cube. It landed on the table as a sad, wet, pink mass. "WHAT?!"

"If your people, your elders won't know how to heal the Dreamer, no one will. Which is why I think it's very good that we are going to meet your parents. They might know someone who knows the cure."
