"A request?" Bai Geming tilted his head, "What do you want?"
"This isn't for me. But for your grandson! He wants to request marriage, and I hope you will give your blessing!"
"Hmm? Which grandson wants to get married?" Bai Geming had many grandchildren.
"..." A bad premonition formed in everyone's mind. The crowd knew who Bai Lei was going to suggest.
"It would be your grandson Liao Yan. And the one he wishes to marry is the first daughter of the Song family."

"Hmm?" The Song family is good. Bai Geming thought about the family Liao Yan married, and he approved. He looked at Song Chongli,

So calling him young Song wasn't disrespectful.

It may be good for Liao Yan and Song Yanmei to get married if his family would get support from the Bai family. But was it 100 percent?
Liao Yan was only from the branch family. There was too much uncertainty.
And his daughter didn't even like him at all. Making her marry would cause her to hate her for the rest of her life.
