"Does he have a girlfriend? Please tell me he doesn't have one." Stacy said dreamily.

We are having our lunch at the restaurant near the office and ever since they all got to know that I studied in the same college as Dhruv they have been continuously asking questions about him.

Stacy here has a crush on Dhruv so she is the one who is asking non-stop.

But my mind is still clouded with the thoughts of that statement and the one thing which I did this morning.

He doesn't love me then why did he use that word? And protect me from what? What am I missing out here? Did I hear it correct or was it a dream?

Naisha shook me and I came out of my thoughts. They all were looking at me expecting an answer. Oh, yeah they want to know about Dhruv.

"No, he doesn't have any girlfriend," I replied and Stacy clasped her hands in excitement.
