Mo Zhexi pursed his lips and let Xu Wenwen go. So, in her heart, she was forced by him to share a room with her rather than her willingness.
Mo Zhexi had a sad expression on his face which Xu Wenwen didn't notice because she was staring down.
When he asked her if she's willing to let him sleep beside her, she said it's fine. But now, her words made him think that he forced her.
And he thought he moved her heart and she's willing to let him sleep beside her.
Was he the only one looking forward to it?
They had been sleeping by each other side almost one week.
They didn't cross any line except holding hand and that accident in the morning where he touched her breast.
Was she actually reluctant and pretend to compromise with his request?
Xu Wenwen, who keep staring down, didn't know Mo Zhexi had his mind running wild in imagination.
She realized Mo Zhexi didn't speak and she looked up. She saw an expression that she never seen before.
There was sadness in his eyes.
Did she say something wrong?
Mo Zhexi then smiled at her and patted her head. Even though he smiled, it seems as though he's not.
"Endure it for one more night, tomorrow we'll go back to Country A. Go and sleep first."
After that, he took his clothes and went into the bathroom.
Xu Wenwen stood frozen and didn't move. She recalled what she said.
Did he mind when she said she prefer to have her room? Or what she said about booking two rooms?
Did he think that she was blaming him?
She didn't mean to blame him. She might sound like she blamed him but it's not.
Because of a nightgown, this is first time she felt like they were not in a good terms which mean they had a fight although it seems like it was her complaining.
She exaggerated her issue. It's just a nightgown. She regretted what she said.
She should have just wear it and cover herself with another t-shirt with no need of embarrassments and arguments.
She hit her head with her hand and blamed herself for being an idiot.
She pondered what should she do to make it up to him. She never expected of her few words had hurt him.
She wanted to apologize.
She then put back the nightgown in her luggage. Before she put it in, she hesitated.
After a long three minutes battle in her head, she decided to take the nightgown and change into it.
She then lied down on bed and covered herself with the duvet up to her neck.
Meanwhile, Mo Zhexi was in the bathroom battling his thoughts.
He must have disappointed her. Ughh!!! Why didn't he not restrain himself?!
He should have just booked two rooms back then. He wanted to wreck his foolishness.
When Mo Zhexi came out, Xu Wenwen quickly closed her eyes and pretended to sleep.
Mo Zhexi looked at her and saw she was asleep. He was a little frustrated seeing her sleeping peacefully.
He was not in a good mood because of her and she had the nerves to sleep comfortably.
Hmph! It's not like he's mad at her. It was his fault at the first place.
Sighed. How he wished to turn back in time and fix his mistake.
He then went to the other side of the bed and climbed in. He turned to the side where he won't be able to see her face.
