You should be up to date on the happenings around here this is your territory.” He was right I didn’t nose around on things that don’t concern me. As I looked at him, I was at a loss on what to make of it, his show of indifference to the past history that occurred between us. I was expecting a hint that he was carrying a grudge against me, or a hidden hostility, but the signs were not forthcoming.
