章節 13: 13. An early bird

Aiden´s P.O.V.

Without daring to make a noise, I carefully climb towards towards the foot of the bed and turn my body so I can put my feet on the ground. This is such a strange way of getting up. It feels good though.

I´m still wearing the clothes from yesterday but I´m very comfortably warm now that I´ve been lying under real covers for so long. I have much to thank them for when I find the opportunity. I tiptoe towards what I think is the exit and open the door.

Extremely slow, so that I don´t wake anyone. I couldn´t forgive myself if I had already made a mistake.

I´m in the corridor now, shutting the door and turning around. Wow. This is such a nice house. What am I saying, it is more of a mansion. I walk along the corridor towards the steps and let out a sigh. There´s so much that will need regular cleaning, it will most likely take me about ten hours a day and then ther´s the cooking to do...
