It was dark inside the tent. And cold. And empty. Soo-Ah laid down to get some sleep, but she inadvertently reached her hand to touch the spot Jung-In had occupied just a couple of hours before. Now he was absent. In his indignation, he had left her alone and chose to sleep outside. When she returned from the hot springs he had already arranged a nook for himself and appeared to be asleep, his cape drawn all the way up, almost covering his head. But this spot next to her, on the furs, still kept some traces of his body heat, or perhaps her mind was playing tricks. They had their misunderstanding, but she hoped that if they would sleep on it, they would be able to reconnect in the same way they used to. Especially if they slept next to each other, but it was not to be. Though it was hard with all those thoughts running wild, in the end, in the dead of night, she fell asleep.
