"Well," E.E continued, "She's been sabotaging their operations from the inside and they found out. She's been ruining their missions for a while now—disrupting their plans, leaking information to us. Now she's in deep trouble."
The tension in the room thickened as everyone absorbed E.E's words. Elevora was one of the best, but even she had limits.
Gustav immediately leaned forward. "Where is she? I'm coming."
E.E held up a hand to stop him with a calm voice. "Don't worry, Gustav. I've got it covered. I've already set things in motion to extract her. You need to stay focused on what's happening on Earth."
"Are you sure, E.E? This sounds serious. If you need me—"
"I'm sure," E.E interrupted, his calm demeanor unwavering. "I wouldn't tell you not to come if I didn't have it under control. I just wanted to let you know why it's taking longer for me to get back."
