"Yes." Delaney crossed her fingers, hoping what Ylvia was about to narrate was the same story she had heard when she was younger.
Like they always did in the past, Ylvia sat on her bed and embraced her, with Delaney's head on her lap. She had done this countless times but it still made her a little nervous. After all, Delaney was still her lady and they were not supposed to be this close. However, whatever made Delaney happy was her duty to fulfill and besides, she liked this too.
She tousled Delaney's hair, making the other melt comfortably in her embrace.

She started, her mind flooding with memories from Delaney's childhood, when she would hold the young princess in her arms and tell her stories or sing her songs without any restrictions.
