"I know, it was a really stupid thing to do and I really regret it" Jack said. I sipped my cocktail while glaring at him. Jack looked anywhere but my eyes.

"So you called me this morning and asked me to be your date to this party to make her jealous?" he nodded his head weakly.

I sighed. "Why did you do that?"

"To win her back of course"

"But that’s not the way to do it. If you did that, she will only hate you more. Why did you cheated on her anyways?"
