"Syifa waits, I'm not done talking yet," Andre said and tried to catch up with Syifa,
However, Syifa who saw Andre walking towards her quickly got into the car.
"Let's go, sir," Syifa said frantically.
Meanwhile, the taxi driver who saw Andre trying to chase Andre was confused.
"Syif, open the door first. I haven't finished talking yet." Andre said, who was now behind the glass of the car,
The man tried to open the car door but couldn't.
"Sir, let's go," Syifa said to the taxi driver.
"But what about your friend?"
"Leave it alone, it's better if we go, straight sir. Please." The girl said.
The taxi driver didn't dare refuse anymore, he finally started driving his car and left Andre there.
"Arhhhh, shit," Andre said when he saw the car Syifa was riding in was already moving and getting further away from him.
The man quickly ran to his car and immediately drove to catch the taxi that Syifa was riding in.
The man drove his car at high speed.
A few moments later, the car driven by Andre finally caught up with the taxi that Syifa was riding in.
Now the two cars were next to each other.
Andre repeatedly honked his horn as if asking the taxi to stop.
Andre lowered his windshield and leaned toward Syifa.
"Syifa, stop first. I apologize for being rude to you earlier. I apologize for making you angry and hurt because of my words that might offend you, please stop. We have to talk," Andre shouted from inside his car.
Syifa, who could still hear Andre's words, did not care about anything the man said.
The girl did not look at Andre at all.
"Poor your friend, kid." The taxi driver said when he saw Andre who kept calling Syifa's name.
Syifa who heard the taxi driver's words then glanced at Andre.
"He's not my friend, sir," Syifa said to the taxi driver.
"But he keeps calling your name." The taxi driver said again.
"Please avoid him, sir. Can the car go any faster? I don't want to see him, please sir." Syifa pleaded with the taxi driver.
The taxi driver could no longer say anything.
He just nodded his head as he drove his car at a higher speed until Andre's car was left behind.
Andre, who realized that the taxi he had been chasing was now going faster, also accelerated his car.
He didn't want to lose the taxi.
He had to apologize to Syifa. He shouldn't have spoken to her that harshly.
While Andre was focused on driving the car, the traffic light in front of him suddenly turned red.
The man immediately hit the steering wheel of his car when he saw that the taxi Syifa was riding in managed to pass the light before it turned red.
Andre couldn't help but wait until the light turned green again.
"Arhhhh, shit. Why did you have to change it now?" Andre said as he continued to beat the steering wheel.
He would not be able to chase the taxi again.
Meanwhile, somewhere else. Syifa glanced behind her, through the windshield.
She was trying to find Andre's car to see if he was still chasing her.
And after a few seconds of searching, Syifa breathed a sigh of relief when she couldn't find Andre's car behind her anymore.
"Thank you, sir, he's not chasing us anymore," Syifa said to the taxi driver.
The taxi driver just nodded his head slowly.
"Sorry if I'm being presumptuous, but why don't you want to meet your friend, son? Is he your boyfriend? Are you guys fighting?" the taxi driver asked politely.
Hearing the question from the man in front of her, Syifa immediately bowed her head.
Then, she slowly shook her head.
The taxi driver glanced at Syifa through the glass in front of him and fixed his eyes on her.
"You're not lovers?" The man asked for confirmation.
This time Syifa nodded her head.
"So you are friends?" the man asked again.
Syifa shook her head again.
"He and I are not lovers, and we are not friends. We're just strangers who accidentally met" Syifa said in a low voice.
"Then why is he chasing us? Do you have a problem?"
Syifa nodded her head.
The taxi driver nodded his head as if he understood Syifa's meaning.
"If I may give you some advice, I think arguments in friendships or relationships are normal, we just have to be mature and not be short-sighted. We have to be able to deal with any problems that come our way, one of the problems that can come our way is like this, a small argument with someone. You should give that person a chance if they want to explain something to you. We shouldn't shy away from problems. Problems will never be solved just by avoiding them and disappearing from them. Face it, and you will feel better." The taxi driver said.
Syifa who heard it immediately fell silent.
She thought about every word the man said.
She thought that if what he said was true, she shouldn't be avoiding him like this.
She is not a weak woman, she is a strong woman.
She couldn't be weak just because of Andre's words.
"You can do it Syifa, what Andre said earlier is nothing. Think of it as a joke." The girl said to herself.
"Thank you, sir, now I'm calmer," Syifa said to the taxi driver.
"You're welcome." The man replied with a small smile.
Syifa, who had been showing a sad look on her face, immediately became full of joy and seemed to have no problem since she heard the man's words.
At least she had found the answer to her frustration earlier.
She should be able to ignore her anger and not think too much about it.
Once again she told herself that she was not a weak girl.
She was a strong girl, she should not feel disappointed, sad, and angry just because of such remarks.
Just think of Andre as a broken radio that shouldn't be listened to.
