章節 6: CHAPTER 5: "CONFESSION"
"Okay........so you're telling me that he could die?"
"Yes Lauren!"
"What?!"
"I know, but I don't know weather I should believe him or not!"
"But, what if what he said is true?! What should we do Amie?!"
"Why don't we relax first and talk about this tomorrow okay?"
"Okay"
A few months had passed and it is already their senior prom
"Girl today is our senior prom. Are you ready? Do you already have something to wear? Who is your prom date?"
"Bro today is the senior prom? Do you have someone to go with?"
"Well girl I was thinking of going with my suitor."
"What you have a suitor?! Why didn't you tell me?"
"Well bro I....I think I'll just go hang out with you guys."
"No way bro I have a Girlfriend!"
"Well girl who's this lucky guy?"
"You'll know him later at the prom."
"Okay girl!"
"C'mon bro let me hangout with you."
"Why don't you ask our other Bro's maybe you can go with them."
"Bro they all have a Girlfriend!"
"So do I bro!.....i'm sorry bro."
"Okay...."
'I miss Amie so much...' John said in his mind.
'I wonder if John has a prom date. Wait! Why am I thinking about him?! Ugghh forget him Amie okay!' Amie said in her mind as well..
After a while, they headed to the prom. Amie is wearing a Mint green Gown and she is wearing a Bond and there are things on her head that look like she is an angel or a fairy while, John is wearing an Expensive black suit and Black shoes, his hair is also in order as if he looked like an actor. They both looked at each other. John was about to approach Amie but John saw that Amie was with someone. A man also in a black suit and black shoes. Amie was still holding the man's arm while looking at John alone. He just didn't come over and just sat in the chair near him. Soon the prom was over and they all left except John, Amie and Amie's prom date.
AMIE'S POV
"What's wrong with you?! Ugh Let me go! You had too much to drink! Ugh get away from me don't touch me!...Ugh....(Amie struggling) HELP is someone there?! Someone is trying to rape me!"
'Lord please send help. I do not want to get rape by this man in front of me.'
JOHN'S POV
'That's Amie's voice. What happened?! On the rooftop! I can hear her from the rooftop! I need to get to her! '
"AMIE!"
"JOHN?!"
3rd POV
John quickly rushed at the man and punched him. The man also punched him back and said...
"HEY! WHO THE F*** ARE YOU?!!! HEY I'M TALKING TO YOU!"
He pulled John's collar and punched him again, but John prevented himself from falling to the floor and rushed at the man again.
"WHO AM I?! I'M NO OTHER THAN...JOHN REYES! AMIE'S LOVER!" then he punched the man.
Amie's eyes widened and she woke up to reality. She stopped the two in the fight and told his prom date to leave then she helped John. She held him in his arm but her prom date did not listen to him and pulled Amie away from John.
"Hey! Let me go!! it hurts!!!! Ughh!!!"
John pulled Amie and punched the man.
"Let Amie Go!!"
"Hey guys stop!!! Ughh!"
Due to the extreme fight happening between the two, Amie fell to the floor and John approached Her. He asked if Amie was okay and Amie nodded. After she nodded, she saw John faint and he coughed a lot.
"John? JOHN?!! Hey are you okay?!" Hey John!"
"Hey B*st*rd! Get up! What? Are you giving up?! Ha! You're such a L-O-S-E-R! LOSER! HAHAHAHAHA!"-Boy
Amie stood up and slapped the man and drove him away. He shouted at the man and the young man left in a rage.
(John coughing)"John are you okay?! Hey John what's wrong with you?!"
"Am---ie...w-w-what time is it?"
"It's already 12:00. Why what's wrong?"
"F*ck I need my medicine!"
"What are you talking about?! What medicine are you talking about?!"
"Remember what I told you at the hospital?"
"Y-Yes.....Wait! It's true?!"
John laughed softly and tears welled up in his eyes. And he slowly closed his eyes.
"Hey John? JOHN! Hey wake up"
'My phone where's my phone?!' said Amie in her mind. He called the Ambulance and told the place where they were. He also immediately took John's bag and searched for his medicine and water. He gave it to John but there were only five minutes left when he gave John the medicine. The Ambulance arrived and they went to the hospital. Arriving at the hospital, Amie told John's family everything that had happened. After that, John's doctor also came out.
"May I ask who is John's Guardian?"-Doc.
"I'm John's Mother. What is it doc?"
"John is in a stable condition now but because of his injuries, his illness is kind of.. affected and also it is because he took the medicine way too late. He is sleeping now but we don't know when he will wake up. The bad news is that it is a 50/50 meaning there might be a chance that he wont be able to wake up."-Doc.
They were all shocked by the bad news and John's whole family was very worried. His mother was about to have a heart attack. Later they all went to John's room until all that was left was Amie. She talked to John for a very long time.
"John...I'm sorry(crying). I'm sorry for not believing you! I'm sorry for leaving you like this! I'm so messed up right now I---I don't know what to do John so please...don't leave us. We still need you, your family needs you, your friends needs you and...and I need you John...so please....I'm begging you don't leave. I haven't even thanked you yet and
I haven't told you how much I love you.....I LOVE YOU JOHN! I LOVE YOU!! Can you hear me John?! I LOVE YOU JOHN!"
Amie said these things non-stop until she fell asleep in the chair near John's bed.
A few months passed and John is still not awake. Amie visits him every day and she always talks to him. Others say that when you talk to a patient, there is a chance that it will wake up immediately. But when Amie visited John again, she was surprised by what happened. He was talking to John and wiping with a wet towel when one of John's fingers suddenly moved.
"John? John?! Are you awake?!"
Amie came out and called John's doctor. The doctor listened to John's heart and was overjoyed and told Amie that John was in good health and that he was no longer in danger. He told Amie that she should call John's family to announce this happy event. John's family immediately went to the hospital and saw that John was awake.
"John?! My son You're okay!"-Mrs. Reyes
"Brother!"-Fatima
"Thank you Lord so much for saving my son!"-Mr. Reyes
"John....John how are you feeling?"
"Amie? Amie what are you doing here....?"
"I'm glad you're okay! I was so worried about you! I--" John didn't let Amie finish and he stepped in.
"You were worried about me?"
"Yes!...Look John I'm so sorry I didn't believe you in the first place. I don't know but I got so nervous after you told me about your illness when we were at the hospital so that's why I kind of decided to not believe you because I don't want to believe the fact that anytime soon you're just...gonna....disappear in front of me and I....I don't want that to happen John!"
Amie cries as she says this. John's eyes widened and he said...
"Amie....I still Love you...now I want to ask you...Do you still love me too?..."
There was a little silence and Amie said ....
"YES JOHN! I----I STILL LOVE YOU!" Amie screamed as she burst into tears and bowed.
John smiled and held Amie's hand. He asked Amie if John could be Amie's Girlfriend again for many reasons and Amie answered Yes. Since that day, they have been together again. Amie takes care of John every day until John returns to his old condition. The two of them were happy and at the same time enrolled in the same College school so that they are not far from each other and so that Amie can keep John accompany. From then on they were happy in their lives and always there for each other.
A few weeks later Amie was still taking care of John.
