章節 2: Chapter 1: Christmas Wish
Leonardo's pov
I parked my car at T.J high school.
I still remember how it happened. How I was introduced to Lisa Williams, how Zeus emphasised the ride rules. I'm not even allowed to stare at her, pssh!
Today marks 3 years of transporting the most beautiful girl from school and of course breaking all the ride rules. I think I'm in love with Lisa who turns out to be my bosses daughter.
Tragic!
I scanned the area for her pretty face and I spotted some dumb ass with his arms wrapped around Lisa's waist. The dude was only centimetres away from her lips. The jealous creeped in and I banged the horn making a loud hoot sound.
Lisa pulled away from the mini hug and walked towards my direction.
Whoa that was close, I sighed in relief. If I can't have her then no one should.
I unlocked the doors inviting her in. She threw her cute ass on the passenger's seat.
"Ey..." I mumbled.
"That was supposed to be my first kiss and you blew it" She growled.
I couldn't hold in my laugh. First kiss?
"It's not even funny Leo!" She snapped.
"It actually is, so you are 18 and you still haven't pressed lips with anyone?" I chuckled.
"You are fucken 20, you won't get it" She rolled her hazel coloured eyes.
"Fine, I'm sorry" I signed.
Well I'm not sorry! Lisa is not just an ordinarily girl. Her first kiss gotta be special! In fact everything gotta be special!
"All 18 year olds have kissed before and they have boyfriends!" She sighed.
"What hurts the most is that dudes don't even shoot their shots apparently dad freaks them out!" She looked out the window.
"And prom is in a few months!" She sighed louder.
Okay now that stings. I can be her prom date, I've never even been to prom. I dropped out of school after the 10th grade but that's a story for another day.
"What is it in dad that scares people?" She asked.
"I really don't know" I lied.
Mr Williams aka Zeus is just scary! Regardless of him being a whole killing machine, a rich ass mobster, a widower and lastly a father figure he has his own way of doing things. He hardly jokes around and that scares everyone.
I stopped the car and turned to face her.
"Did you know you are what every guy wishes Santa could bring every Christmas, You are every guys 11:11 wish..."
Her face lightened up. Well Lisa is my Christmas wish!
"You think so?" She asked.
"Well thinking is underrated, I know so" I smiled.
My mission was to keep her happy and I just accomplished it.
I got back on the road. I thought Lisa knew she was a bomb because wow, It's a whole exploration.
A while of listening to some shitty songs, I pulled over at her dad's mansion.
We exited the car and she invited me into her home.
I waited for Lisa to disappear then I headed to the basement, the headquarters where all the shit goes down!
"We home!" I whispered.
"I'll be there in a minute" Zeus replied.
I hurried back upstairs. I knocked on Lisa's bedroom door.
"Mr Williams is home" I said.
"Are you staying for supper" She asked.
"Nah... Mamma is home"
"See you tomorrow" She opened her door.
She was wearing a tank top with shorts. My eyes travelled from her eyes to her bare legs.
"Yeah... I'll see you tomorrow" I smiled awkwardly and left.
Life gets a bit complicated when the clock hits 4pm. I gotta face mamma, I have to lie to my bro about better days and sometimes go to bed hungry. That's when my thoughts begin to scream and I only have the green plant to calm me down.
I sighed and pulled over at my crib.
The kitchen lights were on that means mom prepared something to eat.
"Ciao!" Mamma smiled.
"Hey" I replied.
"Your brother's school fees is still outstanding, how much did you make today?" Mom asked.
"Mamma please... not right now" I headed to my room changed my clothes.
"You just got here, Where are you going?" Mamma asked.
"I'll be back!" I hissed banging the door.
Lisa's pov
"Yeah... I'll see you tomorrow" Leo said.
I watched him leave. He said I'm on every guys wish list, typical Leo would obviously lie to put a smile on my face.
I ran to my dad's room.
"Dad" I called pushing his door.
"Hey Princess" He smiled awkwardly.
"You okay?" I asked.
"Yes of course" he smiled.
"Prom is in 3 months" I spoke.
"Okay" He replied.
"Okay?!" I snapped
"What?" He asked.
I just didn't want to continue with this conversation. Dad cares about nothing! I wish mom was here! I went back into my room and slammed my door.
"Lisa!" Caroline called.
"Everything alright in there?" She asked.
"All good Caro" a smile formed on my face.
Caroline has been motherly even when mom was alive. She is the only one who cares in this house. She's not just a housekeeper, she's more like a house warmer. She makes this hell hole feel like home again.
I buried my face on my pillow and the Thursday tiredness kicked in.
First chapter was quite short, I wanted to give a brief idea of how things roll here.
