The Wynter nine's walk to the Udrad palace gates was not long but they could see the fear in the lycan warriors who were staring at them as if they wanted to plead for their lives they couldn't even do that.

Of course, it was a given, that if the lycans pleaded for mercy at this point in the war, their actions would easily be considered a betrayal to their country which was punishable by death anyway. 

"They look so scared," Nymeriah commented softly as she looked at them. She had never seen lycans that scared of anyone, hell, not even Edison himself and the man was a pain in the ass to everyone who ever interacted with him.

However, there was nothing they could do, so instead, the Wynter nine just nodded at the poor lycan warriors as they made their way through the dead bodies and got closer and closer to the palace.
