"What the fuck?" Unar questioned again, though this time, it was directed to Fahima.

Fahima looked at her best friend whose angry eyes had not settled on her. She knew him so well and she knew that he would really give her the scolding of the year like the older sibling he was supposed to be to her. So before the prince could say anything, Fahima spoke.

"He refused to stay at the palace and insisted that he wanted to go back home. I think he knew his people would come to him.

"I tried stopping him, but I couldn't," Fahima said, her tone so respectful that no one would ever guess that he spent most of their time with Unar, trying to spank the prince into reality and leading a normal life.

The warlocks at the gates watched the two best friends talk, before their eyes settled on one of their own, who looked like literal shit. The urge to break through barriers and heal him was so intense that they wanted to spank some sense into him.
