One glance at the kid lying helpless on the forest floor was enough for Zelina to know he was hurting so bad. She wished they would take him home and away from here, but then Alanor couldn't always keep running for home.

He couldn't always be trying to get away from reality. At some point in time, the young Wynter would have to face his enemies and maybe tonight was being a little too hard on him, but he had to get up.

He had to rise and not falter, because only then, would he have the courage to face them all.

The whole of the midlands knew that Gideon of Greroth was united and if he didn't show up today, it would raise speculations. It would leave people wondering why Criselda's protege had decided not to make a show, when he was of the right age to be mated.

If anything, he was a little over the standard age of mating.
