Her fingers touched the white box that had been left behind in her room. She had opened it and there was nothing inside. It hummed with magic but she had no idea what it could be. Lumielle made a mental note to ask Sebastian about it.

"Princess," Sylvia said brushing her hair, "What do you want to wear?" 

Cordelia had arrived in the Capital. She had come in a hurry, Lumielle noted. After living in the North, she had come in blistering speed—what was the reason? Her aunt had not come up here in the previous timeline, yet things were very different. 

"Bring casual clothes. I'm not going to be leaving the Palace until the party."
