章節 14: "You lazy cunt."
Chapter 14
After Liam and I had talked, he drove me home, and I had dinner with my family and Bailey.
Bailey basically lived at my house. Her dad was a drug addict and even though her family had a business Bailey and her sister Anna weren't treated right. Her mum had fallen into the same hole as her ex-husband and now they were both drug addicts.
Tracey, Bailey's mum was gradually getting better because she had been going to rehab but her ex was just running around town being a freak and causing trouble.
After dinner with my family, I went to my room with Bailey, and we Group FaceTimed Liam, Noah, Kaiden, and Happy.
Bailey and Noah's relationship was cute but in a cringe way. And I didn't even know about mine and Liam's. I know that earlier he called me his girl, and I said nothing but I really didn't know what we were and I didn't know if I wanted another relationship with him.
Our last relationship was rocky, but it was amazing and I wanted that again but without all the pain.
"You okay, babe?" I looked at Liam's part of the screen and nodded.
After this, we just talked about what we were doing for the rest of the week and we established that I'd be staying at Noah's with Liam, Bailey, Kaiden and Happy for a few days.
Once the call had ended. Bailey left to go to her house, and I rang my father.
"Dad."
"Hi Kehlani." he greeted.
I really didn't know what to say. "How are you?" I was avoiding the subject that I wanted to bring up.
"I'm fine, how are you?" he replied warmly.
"I'm fine. I'm sorry da-"
"No, no, it's fine Kehlani. It's not your fault it's mine. I shouldn't have pried and you're right you probably have known him longer and I'm sorry that you don't know me. But just remember that I'm your dad so obviously I will want to know who you hang out with and stuff." I didn't know why he said that it was his fault when it wasn't. I caused all of this.
"Yeah, I know dad. I love you." I was happy that he wasn't mad at me. And I hoped that this would make our relationship closer as we had gotten past the obstacles.
"Are you and Kayleigh coming over tomorrow?" I asked.
"Kayleigh is busy but I'll come." he answered.
We talked more, then we said our goodbyes.
I began packing a bag for my stay at Noah's and once I was finished I went to Kaiden's room.
"Hey bro!" I greeted.
He looked up at me and smiled "Hey K." Then he continued doing whatever he was doing on his phone.
"How come you're smiling?" He never usually smiled when he looked at me.
He just stared at me and gave me a blank look.
"You're talking to Happy aren't you?" I questioned.
"If I wasn't then do you really think I'd be happy tha- oh shit you see what I did there?" He started laughing and instead of laughing with him, I laughed at him because of the way he burst into laughter.
"You packed your bags yet?" I asked once we had stopped laughing.
"Nah, plus Happy has some of my clothes so I'll just get her to put mine in her bag too."
Once he said that I smacked him across the head "Don't be rude. Pack your stuff yourself you lazy cunt!" I chided.
"Fine, now get out bitch," he shooed "actually before you go, give me a hug" I walked up to Kaide and engulfed him in a bear hug.
"I love you Kehlani."
"I love you too Kaiden."
