After the launch of Royals Closet, Esther straight went to the penthouse to look for her son. She was worried about him. Esther just asked others to take care of him when she went to give the interview. Maybe she shouldn't let these people ask her questions. That way she would be with her son for some time. 

The disappointed look in his eyes when he was asked to leave made her heart wrench. Call the mother's instincts she doesn't know why… but she could feel something was wrong with her son. She wished to be with him and take care of him. She was not complaining about how extra clingy he was with her. He's her son, she would not mind him being clingy. We cannot say the same for Cyrus. 

Cyrus just followed her to their penthouse calmly. He was already having a chat with Ben and Nicholas about what was happening with his son. Even he could feel something was wrong with his son.
