Ezra's POV

It has been a week since Zander and I had the picnic, and he has been sending me flowers so I can look at them when I wake up in the morning.

We went on two dinner dates since. He has been making me smile, laugh, and absolutely happy, making me almost forget that I was waiting on my father to answer my questions.

Is this what my dad meant when he said I would know when I found the one?

It sure feels like it, but I don't want to get my hopes up too much. This is the first guy that I dated, and he seems like a great guy but he is supposed to be the next king.

He hasn't paid any attention to the other females that have been around batting their eyes at him lately. He only holds my hand and pulls me by his side when they come around.

I know we still haven't talked about what is going on between us, but he seems as weary as me about plunging into something quickly.

I like his cautious side; it compliments mine.
