Katherina Blackwood's POV

It's been two days since Ara and I were taken by a taxi driver to a mysterious guy who was staring at me in the club.

Even though no one arrived at my door step day before yesterday as per the man's instruction, the fear wouldn't settle down in me and I would jump every time the doorbell rings in the evening or the clock strikes 5. His unkind and cold-heartedness has somehow seeped into my veins like some kind of disease and threatens not to leave me any time soon. I still remember those hard steel eyes staring down at me with nothing but raw lust and dominance, waiting to maul me if I don't obey.

Chris is sure the trouble has passed but I can't convince myself it's over and get over it. I've been dreading to tell my parents from yesterday, a part of me hoping for them to understand even though I was wrong. So, I decided to prepare their favourite dishes and tell them over dinner at any cost.
