章節 20: HALLUCINATION?
I rub my eyes as I hear someone singing, I sit upon an unfamiliar bed...this is not my room.
Where am I?
"You finally woke up."
I look towards the door and see Mark wearing a grey shirt while holding a tray.
"Mark...where am I?"
"Let's talk about it later, now it's time for you to eat something k!"
I silently nod, even if I wanted to, I couldn't argue, I was too hungry.
I got up from the bed and made my way towards a table on the corner of the room but for some reason, my clothes felt different...
"M...mark? What happened to my clothes? Who changed them?"
"Uh? Ah, don't worry I called one of the maids and told them to help you change, by the way, that's my shirt your wearing and it suits you more than me!"
He points at the light blue shirt that was on me, it had long sleeves than covered my fingers and it reached my knees...I'm sure I look like a ghost, how does it suit me?
I sit facing Mark and start eating without delaying my breakfast any further.
"Do you like it? I'm not really good at cooking or anything, I have maids to do all that but I wanted to try and make breakfast for you, I'm happy to know that you like it, oh, try that soup, that's the food I'm the most confident in making!"
His bright smile made the whole meal way sweeter than the dessert he gave me afterwards.
"Umm...so this place, is it your house?"
"What do you think?"
"I... don't know."
He suddenly stands up and walks towards the big window while moving the curtains aside, he opens the door that leads to the balcony and looks back at me.
"Do you wanna see what's outside?"
My curiosity took the better of me and I slowly made my way to the open area...
"This is beautiful!"
I was speechless, the amazing view in front of my eyes was so stunning that it didn't look real...
"This is a very important place for me..."
He looks at me then smiles gently, he's eyes looked sad yet his smile was filled with joy...
*'Y/N look, I found a pink flower...woah you look like a princess'
'When I grow up, I'm going to marry you and we will live in this mansion, you, me and pouf'
'But what about our parents?'
'mom said when a man gets married he can live alone with his wife'*
"Agh! My he...ad hurts! M...ark. My head hurts!"
"Y/N! What happened?"
He comes closer and hugs trying to calm me but my body won't stop shivering, what was that just now? A hallucination? But everything looked so real...same place, same smell, and who was that kid? How did he know my name?
"Y/N...I'm sorry it's my fault! It's because of me that you're like this now! If only that day we were together, if only we didn't have a fight...that wouldn't have happened!"
He's embrace becomes even tighter as I felt drops of water falling on my neck...why is he crying? What does he mean anyway? We just met for the first time yesterday.
...I don't understand what's going on anymore! Everything just seems so messed up! Nothing is clear, the marriage, Kai, Mark...me, what's going on in here?
"Mark...what's happening? My life seems to be getting more confusing as the day pass, I can't think straight anymore!"
"Y/N is fine you don't have to worry about anything, you have me, that's all you need to know. I will keep you safe from everyone. Oh god, you look so worn out, you should sleep."
He lifts me up and carries me to the bed, he positions my weak body carefully and places the blanket over me, just like that my mind went quieter. His voice sounded like a lullaby and my eyes slowly became heavy...
THIRD PERSON POV
"Sir we got a call from the Black Bull gang, it's urgent!"
Mark nods while the well build man walks away from the room.
He looks at Y/N with his caring eyes, he carefully moves his face closer and leaves a silent kiss on her lips...
"It's ok Y/N you don't have to worry about anything anymore, the outside world is scary so you will live here with me, no one can harm you, you have me now, we're going to be together like before, only me, you and Pouf. ( pronounced as Puf)
He lets go of Y/N's hands and walks towards the door, before closing it he looks back again than disappears in the vast, dark corridor of the mansion...
